Also, though he was raised in Mississippi, he was born in Kenosha WI. Also, he was a bad-ass middle-weight boxer before his music career. Also, he is a Christian.

Besides being a great guy I’ve heard him several times at the Blue Canoe in Tupelo and a side note. He was in the National Guard and worked in a furniture factory there in Okolona.
