I want a donkey.....I made friends with one in upstate new york.....I miss him he was cool !!

Gee stick around Bart-I can be the spare Jack-ass in the meantime.........:laughing7:

I've been called the same pepper !!:laughing7:

Well the flag has been raised....engine room fans at 30%, and all the night time lighting is off. The last 30 minutes has been spent trying to figure out the most complicated coffee machine I've ever seen !! I give up...ill go get a coffee from the fishing tackle store !!

Bart,

Whatever the brand of coffee machine odds are they should have an online video on how it operates.

Good morning, ARC, Bart, Bill, Pepper, Rook, Rusty, and everyone else boarding the ship.Sorry for the disappearance. A Saying widely used on this site is: I fell down a rabbit hole. Well, I got to looking at Bart's pics and it would be more appropriate to say that I fell into Davy Jone's Locker. Blimey! I was a dreaming! I guess if you can't live that lifestyle, the next best thing would to be to work in that industry. What is that like a $100,000+ a week to charter? And Bart, did you foil a robbery about 10 years ago? Or was that just another guy named Bart?

Ok back to reality....

Rusty, good luck on your hunt today, wherever you decide to go.

Yes, Pepper, the door was stained a dark gray last night. Trim is being cut at the shop today. Hopefully, we will be moving it out to the grounds next week.

It's another cold day in Ohio, but it is forecast to start warming up after today.

Bill and Noah, Nice coins. I am going to be one of those buyers more than finders. Although I did inherit a few. Lost a couple that I inherited. They are either still in this house somewhere or someone pocketed them, which I really hate to believe. I don't know for sure what they were even. Forget. I do remember 1855 on one. With an eagle. Terribly worn. Barely visible images.

I got booted from a slow train once from El Paso to San Antonio. Riding in the pusher engine I was informed there was going to be a "Border Control check" And I'd be given the boot.
80 miles before San Antonia in the middle of the night, got all lit up, helicopter with search light, dogs, 4x4's with huge bar lights, horses, looked like a scene out of movie.

Came my time to depart (megaphone order) climbing down with my pack- I heard an over the radio request to the gun toting man "What have you got?" Reply: "Just a hobo"
My reply: " Well I thank you sir for the compliment"
That squirrelled a look from him.:laughing7:

When the conductor informed me that the stop was going to happen-he gave me a lrg drink and a sandwich-"Where you are getting the boot-there is nothing" Yes there was nothing, no water, just sage brush and 90F temps. I finally hit the highway late the following afternoon........Thinking back-it was a hike from hell-lesson from the school of hard knocks.

Morning WD

Good to hear that the door is nearing completion and the She-shed will be moving out pretty soon.
Yup it's chilly one out there this morning-water buckets froze solid.
I wish to get me-shop finished this year-then purge it of all the unwanted building material extras/furniture.............
3200 sq.ft. and I can't swing a mouse around in it....:>(

GMorn everbody, that boat is something else for sure, there might be a dog kennel on it big enough for a burrow at least..
Instead of a fog horn blast.....He-Ottt He-Ottt He-Ottt....
30 in the mornings at least kills all the bugs, middle 70s feel almost too warm somehow. Easter means whole lotta extra-good leftovers...
Have a good day!

Jim,

I did have several free train trips during my time in the railway as an employee never as a castaway.

I thought several times to write a book about my foolishness during my misspent youth....then again probably people wouldn't believe some of the foolishness....:laughing7::laughing7::laughing7:

Like waking up with one of those sandwich board signs with a flashing yellow light they used at construction sites. I thought it would be a nice touch in the bedroom....:laughing7::laughing7::laughing7:

So as you guys know this last find of mine has been quite a thrill. I use Instagram to trade in mahogany and I have a fishing pic thing going also. Well lately I've discovered the treasure hunters on this site...or they found me. But my point is this....out of all the famous treasure hunters on that site, im realizing that there is probably only 10-12 of us that produce treasure on a regular basis. Its made me realize that this is a very small community of successful treasure hunters. It truly is a great club to be a part of, and my last finds have made me somewhat of a local celebrity, and has got alot of people from that small group of treasure hunters following me now. It is a great honor to have alot of the same group of people recognizing my name and giving me some credit for my finds. Im in negotiations for my second 1733 pillar dollar....this big time treasure buyer is gonna have to come up a little bit on his offer though....I really don't mind keeping my treasure if my prices are not agreed to !!
