Thanks for the help but. No offense I Don't see one 2011 and I want a southern (salt free) car :)

Ah I see your point. Most if they love their first love-park them for the winter.
We loves the winter beaters up here-Mine got parked in late fall not brought out till the brine/salts were gone. Could of eaten lunch off the motor-then again it only had 28.5K on her.
Then again there's the ones that slap the winters on the ride and drive them through the seasons.

One trip on a hoist and they can quickly tell how it's been treated. I was always wondering about the salt air on cars, AZ it was the heat.

When I drove at the auto auction it was a rule, gloves, and a towel at all times.
Gloves to handle the steering wheel, and door handle, towel to drape over the seat so the buttons on the upholstery didn't leave welts on the back.
115F in the shade...then on top of the black top. YAK!

ARC,

It beats paying for municipal supplied water full of chlorine, florides, etc...To be on the safe side just run the water through a charcoal filter and you're good to go.

Jim,

Yep Grace Slick could really belt out the tunes in her heyday.

Seems like she has a bit of fire in her yet at 81. Here's a snippet on her life.

President Richard Nixon's daughter Tricia and Slick are both alumnae of Finch College, and Slick was invited to a tea party for the alumnae at the White House in 1969. She invited anarchist Abbie Hoffman to be her escort and planned to spike President Nixon's tea with 600 micrograms of LSD (an enormous amount), but the party had been billed as an "all ladies" event.

If they had succeeded I think the POTUS would have been blowing babbling bubbles.

Bart,

Quite the story another treasure to track down...to bad it's probably spread all over New England.

600 micrograms, that's what? Like 12 times what Tricky needs to trip.

What a waste of LSD. :laughing7:

Our current president does not need drugs to trip. He needs them to keep from tripping.
500 to 700 ug.**Very strong hallucinations. *Objects appearing that do not exist. *Elaborate hallucinations. *Strong loss of reality. Entire ego dissolution likely. *Strong religious or symbolic imagery may occur/mystical experiences reported. *Often overwhelming. *

Not much for written details on the car-but a whole lot on the dealership. :laughing7:

True black is a real hard one to keep clean-grey/white are an easy but not that eye catching colour.
