GMorn everybody, storm keeps getting downgraded. It’s still dry here now and calling for a foot and half of snow by Monday.
I try to send a msg Ethan about some coins, all are gone?
More pics or videos Bart please, I not quite getting my fix. I’m almost begging....
The state record Tiger trout? Hybrid stocker was caught in southerland res. a few days ago. Man made fed by canal from lake Mac. It provides water to The Gerald Gentleman power station, coal burner. I haven’t figured how to post that stuff and 7# fish are not that impressive to me after seeing some salt water fishes.
Have great day!

Hello peeps...good morning.

Morning everyone :hello:

Hoping you are all safe and your critters and damage is minimal.

I all looks ok this am, the winds died off sometime during the night. Sure took the snow pack away, the south facing side of the bay is all brown this am.

Good morning everyone.

It's testing day. Pray for me! (drivers test, not covid test. :laughing7:)

Just remember to learn to park those nerves before starting out, it's all good. Just some person with a clip board deciding on your ability to be qualified or not.
Best of luck on the drive.

Good morning, Fat. I was going to ask you to please not be sending that snow this way. I looked at the forecast. Sure enough, it will be coming on Monday and Thursday next week. :BangHead:

Good morning, Pepperj. Good to hear all is well. :hello2:

Good morning, Bart. Thanks for teaching me something already this morning. Can I go back to bed now? :laughing9:

Good morning, Rusty. Prayers said for your right of passage. :angel1:

OOn our nightly walk the Mrs took the street and I took the back laneway. I'm not going down there in this wind!" It was kind of crazy seeing large pine cones going by like oak leaves in the wind. :laughing7:

it's always a great day when I can learn something new early in the day.

Did you get the siding ordered up for the new build?

Was over at the lumber yard/hardware place yesterday picking up a plumbing piece and the neighbour from across the highway was a waving as she passed me in the store.

"I can't believe it, that garage we want to have built was in the book for $65K-well they just told me that it was now going to cost us $130K because the cost of materials !!!." :BangHead:

That's just not right I stated-I guess you're not a happy camper.

Now about 4 yrs back they bought the bank repo. home for 37K and that was a stretch in value (seriously) when the family left it-they even took the bathtub.

They haven't done a lick of work to the outside of the home (needs it seriously) but are thinking about this garage.

The head guy looked at me and said after she left-your cost for a 8ft 2x4 with tax is today $10.55-I bought that same stick of lumber for #2.73 ten yrs back.

OSB is now $76.78-last summer it was $31.58, a 1/2 sheet of plywood is now $88.

But folks are lining up-and others are lining the pocket. I'm glad I don't have to start anything major this yr.

Hello peeps...good morning.

Morning Bart

I'm pretty sure I didn't miss the post up of the new addition to the family.
Picking the new one from the Jewellers today?

Picked it up yesterday. $1,900+

Man I hope so....jeweler said Thursday Friday time frame !! With such a nice coin its tough to give it to someone else and not have it for 3 weeks. He said it was pretty incredible.....waiting to mount emerald...actually I got a tsavorite garnet....same color green and better durability/hardness. I probably won't where it much anyway. To valuable to risk losing, or getting killed over !! The value is hard to guage....its a damn rare coin and has the provenance of the 1733 fleet. Ill get notarized paper work witnessed by islamorada mark, ill make up a fancy certificate of authenticity, and there will be a link to go to here at t-net to read the story !! Now the piece is finally at the most advantageous condition for a genuine treasure sale !! Also the accompanying you tube video assures the legal manner in which this treasure was recovered.....between the high and low mark on the beach and at a well known treasure spot that many others recovered coins from over many decades !! A genuine legal recovery from the Florida keys that relates to the 1733 fleet disaster !!....thats a hard feet to replicate in today's day and age !! Now after all that I would be able to take it or both or even the whole collection to sedgwick auction house and expect to realize a decent return !! In the mean time I will wear it to show the folks around town.....everyone is waiting to see it !! Woooo hoooo !! Im still thrilled over the latest treasure strike !!
