Man I hope so....jeweler said Thursday Friday time frame !! With such a nice coin its tough to give it to someone else and not have it for 3 weeks. He said it was pretty incredible.....waiting to mount emerald...actually I got a tsavorite garnet....same color green and better durability/hardness. I probably won't where it much anyway. To valuable to risk losing, or getting killed over !! The value is hard to guage....its a damn rare coin and has the provenance of the 1733 fleet. Ill get notarized paper work witnessed by islamorada mark, ill make up a fancy certificate of authenticity, and there will be a link to go to here at t-net to read the story !! Now the piece is finally at the most advantageous condition for a genuine treasure sale !! Also the accompanying you tube video assures the legal manner in which this treasure was recovered.....between the high and low mark on the beach and at a well known treasure spot that many others recovered coins from over many decades !! A genuine legal recovery from the Florida keys that relates to the 1733 fleet disaster !!....thats a hard feet to replicate in today's day and age !! Now after all that I would be able to take it or both or even the whole collection to sedgwick auction house and expect to realize a decent return !! In the mean time I will wear it to show the folks around town.....everyone is waiting to see it !! Woooo hoooo !! Im still thrilled over the latest treasure strike !!

Sounds like you're really going to have a great piece of swag when it's all done up with the much needed providence to go along with the piece for the future history.
Providence of any piece is so important when it comes to the value in sale.
Sure one can go to the store and pick up a piece of something for $x.xx and with a story it becomes a $xx.xx, with the province it kicks it up to the $xxx.xx+ for the same item.
Now make sure after you wear it out, and about, just put enough sweat onto the piece, for the final restoration process.

Thinking you have shed a bit of sweat, for the thrill of the hunt, recovery, the dreaming, excitement, the finding of the drops to have it made up, the labour generating the $$$ for the work.

So you can without any quibble of doubt say lovely adorned with pirate swag sweat.:occasion14:

I also went to the bank today to buy more rolls of nickels to search. The last time I was in there, she said "Come back during the middle of the week, we always get new nickels in at that time". I took "new nickels" as new rolls of circulated nickels that might have a goodie or two tucked inside. Nope. Instead today I ended up getting $20 worth of uncirculated 2020 D nickels. Not what I wanted at all. So now I don't know whether to sell them in uncirculated rolls, feed them to the local coinstar or what. ??? Before you ask, no, I don't check the rolls I'm getting, I just hand her the cash, and she hands me the rolls, and I politely accept them without even looking.

All are in uncirculated mint condition and would grade nice, but I don't know if I want to go through the trouble of selling the rolls. Man, I was excited too. The last roll I had, I found one from 1940! Common, but cool.

Mornin all.

Last time I was after coins to search I asked for customer wrapped. No , I didn't find a hundred dollars worth of silver....

Had high bid on an SKS last night. Well enough below a compatible one I'd been eyeing elsewhere that it had to be nabbed.

It might be time to thin the stable/herd. I can profit enough selling one of the latest buys to more than cover last nights bid.
One twin to a gun I paid twenty dollars for (yes , it's been a while...) sold for $353.00. (!)
And it's not a big auction house.

Driving test did not go well, but was no fault of mine. I scheduled it for today, confirmed it for today, and when I showed up the instructor said come back next week, someone already took my slot. Talk about inefficiency, that's just Bull crap.

Not to worry....you'll get it eventually and then you'll be driving the *ENTIRE* rest of your life!!

ETA, is it a drive along test? When you get your belt on, and before you start the car, turn and ask the instructor if they are belted. They love that!

Speaking of driving, I’m no doubt as good a driver as I once was to hear the bride tell it but put me on my zero turn and I’m Rusty Wallace.:laughing7:

When you do your 3 point turn and you bump the curb backing up? Just tell 'em I must be more nervous than I realized. I've done this a hundred times in practice and never once touched *ANYTHING*!!

Worked for me! :tongue3:

Took my class A test and we had been driving this big old Kenworth boot for a month. Then when it came to testing day they threw a flat face cab over in for the testing.
Never drove this thing before, felt the arm pits starting to sting, and I still can't believe it today that I aced it.
The gears were putty to the fingers it seems not a grind in the whole test.
The instructor told me to back the trailer into a little laneway that was a dead end.
No problem, stalled it, tried again, repeat, then I realized I had it in high range-DUH!
I just said first time driving this rig-guess sh*t happens.
Yup said the instructor-no problem I won't knick for it-you know what you're doing.
I seriously needed a shower when I got home---

Like most folks a bit twitchy waiting for spring and somewhat bored with all the lack of socializing.

Been playing the stock market and flipped a couple of share plays yesterday one of them being Ebay for about $275 profit. Today bought 200 shares of Ebay since they pulled back and sold this afternoon for another $100 or so.

Making all this money and nowhere to spend it.... lol.

Awesome! What are you using to trade? A website, app, broker?

Noah,

I use a discount broker which is owned by my bank. The fees are reasonable at about $10 per trade and it's in my RRSP similar to the 401k or Roth plans you have in the U.S. so no tax treatment until I withdraw the funds.

Off like a one legged grasshopper. (back leg)

Night Crew.

Take a couple of old motorcycle helmets along and ask if Instructor has a favorite color. What is a curb?
Driving tests never get any better either.
