Those lobsters look yummy growing up in Moncton, NB we used to pick up freshly cooked lobsters at the Shediac wharf which is considered the lobster capital of the world.

The Mrs grew up in Bathurst, all in-laws are still out there.

My potential new employer has hired an outside firm (HireRite) to do extensive background checks on me before I can actually start the job.

Here in Canada, employers simply request a drivers abstract and a physical/blood/urine tests be preformed.
But these US based employers dig much deeper, almost to the point of it being an invasion of my privacy.

They're currently preforming a criminal record check, social media check, credit check and medical background checks.
Thankfully, I don't have any skeletons in my closet, so I have nothing to worry about, but I'm still slightly offended.
