Morning bill Fat and RTR

Gmorn, 64 for the high turning to rain and snow tonight. Bill you do have a great menu. Do you ever make any dishes with “chevaline”? I have had it a few times, in Quebec. Its way better than a bowl of that grub from the “Iron nation, lower brule res. Sodak. I’ve only tried that one time I couldn’t finish my meal. Have a great day.

Chevaline (pronounced: Shev-a-leen) was a system to improve the penetrability of the warheads used by the British Polaris nuclear weapons system.

I have a hard time digesting those dishes as well.....:laughing7:

AARC

I to my knowledge never have seen that movie but I’ll research that. I’ll circle back to you on that.

You wont regret any movie recommendation from me.

Unless your brain dead. heh

Jim,

Chevaline also happens to be horse meat....lol. I've only had it once not something on my menu though.

Its cold in the keys.....I knew I should have gone to the bahamas in jan.

Ya, just having a silly moment there.

Can't say I knowingly had it from the menu, but one never knows right?

Never felt comfortable around those 4 legged beasts in the first place.

I thinks it was when I was hired to take care of "Goldie" a show horse next door.
Beautiful creature she was.....well until I was late (7am) feeding and then she was one ornery bit**.
Being all hung over, dragging my butt-she'd nip me leaving a purple welt something fierce.
Show up at 6.30 am she'd be as nice as a little puppy all happy, nuzzling me.....:laughing7:

The pic of the brass screen brought back memories for me. Had a sifter at the company that stacked and if I remember right there was 5 or 6 round trays.

I would use it to get fine gold/silver bearing out of the finds in the recovery of old military electronics, also the sizing of the copper chop from the copper wire processor.

Good morning, blokes! Woke up at 2 a.m. wide awake. Lurked around a few and then fell back to sleep. So glad I inherited my mom's sleeping patterns. :BangHead:

Well the plow woke me up at 5am, looks like we have at least 4" if not a tad more. Much milder out this morning, which is a nice feeling after the cold snap.
Might kick the dog out for an afternoon bone chew, he loves laying on a snow bank in the sun gnawing away at a beef bone.
Need to run the plow around for a quick clean up, should kill a hour or so off, all depends if the sugar bush trails are to be done or left in a winter wonder land state.

Need to dig up some more wood as I'm segregating the big rooster bubbles from the other two, the cranky trans is doing the bully on little Bro so she's to be separated.
Thought about putting Bro with the hens-then he'd be the cock-of the-walk for sure :headbang:-oh the jealousy it would be with the other two looking at the show off.

Though on the early morning light turn on there was already 4 cackle berries awaiting for pick up.
Seems like they're stuck on 11 eggs a day now for the past little while and that's not a bad return for the young hens and the bitter cold temps we've had.

Needed a little break from the painting as the summer kitchen in the garage is done and the Mrs's car bay also. My section needs the attic insulation done first before any painting can be done.
To hard to heat above the required temps for painting/curing.

Well I hope you all have a great hump day, at the end of the day I really hope that each and everyone can tick off a little feel good box that you had on this hump day of the week.

27 right now in the Pine Belt. Up to 52 later today. Looks cold here for the Big game this weekend.
