This is what the RCT kitchen looks like in MY mind. :P

No thanks. I think I'll stick with the hors d'oeuvres they served on the galleon at Port Canaveral LOL.

Gmorn everybody, Nice pics RTR, that cobble looks really water warn soft, not sharp or sharp edgie stuff.
AA is that really your home? Pool with pillars and the boat pics, bathroom with small sink? Hahaa.. I’m slow but that’s just dreamy stuff? Bart I’ve been watching 1715 fleet videos and so on. I like it.
60 something today and tomorrow, snow Thur? Have great day

Should be good material.....We removed about 2 ft. of overburden ,then Sniped, scraped, dug out, brushed out, sucked up, sifted, cracks in some bedrocks.Surrounding mountains (close by), have 7 old gold mines,& 2 silver mines.Bottom of the bucket has a lot of black sand.:):occasion14:

Jim,

For what it's worth the other day on my walk along the lake I spotted 3 pairs of robins and 2 pairs on starlings feasting on dried crab apples in a tree.

These birds usually migrate but suspect with the milder weather some stragglers hung around for the winter.

Next phase...drying the material out.....So it can be classified even further down...all the way down to 0.0059 mesh. 016.JPG018.JPG020.JPG

Afternoon bill. RTR. RC

Ya know what, truly, is an eye opener? I've had the pleasure of walking both the deck and the below decks quarters on the U.S.S. Constellation. It gave me a whole new perspective on just what those brave souls had to endure....just to survive back then! Was a *fascinating* walk in history! :icon_salut:

Agreed.

We look back and think... could I have done this ? ? ?

Interesting though... you are what ya know... if that is what ya knew... then just another day like today :)

But yeah... rough... would be the word. heh

Headed to a pawn shop. Been to it before. The only thing they have that is interesting to me is coins.

Always check those "5 for a dollar" boxes! I've gotten coins worth 5-20 bucks from em before. Once I even bought a couple Canadian dollar coins for 25c each lol... even then the conversion was $1.00 USD to $0.75 CAD.

Air-drying that much material will take some time.So I cooked the water off some of it on the stove top. And A few pans later....:) 031.JPG030.JPG

Well they didn’t have much in the way of coins either. I caved in and got a 1854 large cent ( yea and then I seen your totals for the year) . Any way, it was $20 but I only had $10 so my son paid the rest.

Well we have some leftover coleslaw and we'll cook up some German sausages. I'll boil up some skins on potatoes and then some sauerkraut on the side and strong mustard.

Should be tasty.

Is that little nugget what you got from all that dirt ?

A neighbour down in the hamlet has a couple of robins that stick around all winter. I guess they get the best of treats all winter, and if there's a thick hedge why spend all that time migrating.:dontknow:

Have heard that the robins follow the frost coming out of the ground, so they can get the worms and bugs. When I see them it's time to go detecting that's all I know.:hello2:

Evening everyone.
Came across this video again and thought there might be peeps here that haven't seen it before. You won't see it coming and have your sound on. It's what he is doing while singing the Star Spangled Banner at a basketball game that is incredible.
