Morning WD ARC Rook, and all those that just saddle up through out the morning enjoying the relaxing swig of :coffee2:.

Yesterday was interesting. We were traveling around to different mom and pop lumber yards and took roads we have never been on before. We were on this country road when we came upon a property with a very old abandoned house. The MR (yep that's right, The MR) says, " Write that address down! 7167. 7167. Here, I got a pen! 7167. 7167. You need to research that and see if you can figure out who owns the property across the street and see if you can get permission to metal detect it! I will come with you. I wouldn't have you go by yourself."
I'm still in shock.

Shock and Awe! Shock and Awe! Squawks the parrot that sits on the roost in the captain's quarters.

He's a learning organically WD the best way.
You have planted the seed and now it's sprouting-but youz better be careful as that little sprout might grow up to be a that a big bean sprout that that wants to tagging along during every hunt of the new retirement.

Morning bill and pepper

Hello and good morning people of RCT.

Well its a lovely -24C right now feeling like a -28C. Down right nippy outside.
I trotted out to turn on the lights in the barn, and the hairy frost was all over the wall above the out side door. The moist warm air escaping through the door cracks.

The last few days it's been a couple of degrees above the freezing inside, and by the late afternoon it's up to near 38/40F inside. So the chickens are comfy compared to the outside temps.
They gave us 13 cackle berries yesterday, a bakers dozen. Had one jumbo, crazy big it is from such a young one. Must be the treats-has to be-what else would it be...

Yet it's a tad of a worry having this cold snap, yet the sun has warmth to it already shining through the glass.
Oh it's nice to see the glimmer of a longer day now, but that darn moon has been a tad too bright at night.

I was bundled up like a snowman this morning mighty cold on the morning walk -21c/-27 with the windchill.

Anybody ready for brunch? 24c below, I’m fighting my head about 24f above. I’m not sure I could feel the difference in -10 and -30 now days. Have good day.

Good afternoon ye salty scallywags on the RCT !

WD I hear Cap'n was a shown off our cleaning skills. Boy those rum barrels couldn't be any more spotless outside...and in! :headbang:

Bart the (wood) price to pay when a neighbor gets the tables turn on them.
Nice to hear your getting back to exploring the fleet.
Also how is the modern fleet going to handle going- no gas, all electric or battery powered? Solar panels won't be much help in a storm. Or are we going back to sails?

WHADIFIND, I will warn ye before I check the box...in case things go south and the ship lists past 20°.
