Rabbit is making me hungry :tongue3:

Morning WD
How goes your online shopping experiences?

The other day was just for groceries, “pot luck groceries “ the mr calls it. I’m not very good at it.
Yesterday he and I went power shopping. Mostly everyone is getting gift cards. But we had to find toys for the little ones. We have one elusive gift and I am thinking she is going to get a picture of it and wait until January to get it.

Now, how do you like your Nikon? I had mine networked to the smart phone. I didn’t like all the pics downloaded to it, but sometimes it is handy. Then the phone updated and I have not been able to network since. Honestly, the camera I have has too many bells and whistles for my pea brain. But I get lucky sometimes and get excellent photos. Your pics will mostly be too big for posting. I always reduce mine and avoid this thread. But that’s what the fire ship is for.

The P1000 has a few bells an whistles.
Scares the Mrs, but I said turn on just do the simple, no sense trying to figure out how everything works at the beginning.
Just like a detector- 1001 programing options, but the factory settings for the machine are ok.
I'm a total newbie in the photography world.
Took courses, of course what you don't use you loose, sadly.
So now it's just a little playtime for me and a diversion from life's problems.
Might be a long long period of lock downs again, so this will ward of any boring time.
Like I have so much of that in my life.:laughing7:

At least you will be familiar with the lingo. I have a friend from the Heroes that was so impressed with mine that he went out and bought one, I think the same as yours, but not sure. I think the higher the number, the more bells and whistles. He did show me how to focus in the sighting. That was a huge plus for bifocal challenged grandma. Worldtalker and Chadeaux taught me a lot, also. But my friend said, "Watch videos and go shoot." I am sure you will pick it up a lot easier than I have. Mr WD still can't take a pic with it, though. :tongue3:

Ugh! Covid is striking too close for comfort. About 3 weeks ago, one of our employees and his wife got sick over the weekend and was positive. So, he stayed away from the shop. Last week another employee was sent home and told to get test because his wife tested positive. He was negative, but stayed away. Well, we had a crew of 4 on an install. One of them came down with it. He called yesterday and informed the MR that he was positive. So, the other 3 should stay home and isolate, right? One of the 3 is my brother-in-law, and he is in the office today. I told Mr. I wasn't coming in, then, and I was calling my helper and telling her to stay home also. She has underlying health issues. I can't believe that dumbarse came in! Unbelievable! I will probably go in tonight to get stuff done. Then, screw it. I am staying away!

I remember when we got this universal display remote that ran all the electronics-sound system had in the condo. The teck dude handed it over said here you go after programming it to do everything.
We said well could you show us at least?
"Ok no problem-you just do this to do that, and that to this".....and the speed of his thumbs were unbelievable a blur basically.
Stop please! Show me again slower.
"OK" Bla-bla-bla-the speed was reduced but still not catching anything.
Let's pretend I'm 3 yrs old ok.
Oh? repeated the process.
Great just show me the on and off.:laughing7:

One has to wonder about some people's children sometimes.
Looks like most of our province is going into a 28 day lockdown as of Christmas the reports are being released. 1pm today there will be the official announcement by the Premier.
The infection rate is 5X what it was in the spring per day now.
We were all warned the second was going to not fun, and if the modelling is correct the winter will be a rough time for many.
Stay safe WD.
I treat the outside world as one raw very warm wet chicken that has sitting out too long. :tongue3: wash and sterilize everything me touches..............

News from Europe is discouraging.
Not a second , but more a faster mutated third.

Ah well , we do what we can to not share it.
Like other virus's , by the time someone knows they have it , they already been sharing it.

Gal across the road works with the elderly and had it.
I've encouraged them neighbors to stay well downwind of me....

ok ok not going to vent.

bright side

now I have time to get that last elusive gift shipped to me. :hello2:

So whats the plan ? Stay in lock down till we All die of old age ?

Roger,

Thanks for the chuckles....:laughing7::laughing7::laughing7: Hopefully with the vaccines hitting the streets we're starting to turn the corner shortly.
