Well yesterday was a visit by the dock contractors going over the final plans of the dockage that is getting installed next week.
The electricians were here for the whole day, wired unplugs in the house, smoke/co detectors, outdoor lights on house, high output LED security lighting on barn/house. Hard wired in the brooder lighting in the barn. Plugs and outdoor lighting on garage-with a remote-can operate lights from car or in the house.
I spent a few hrs nursing a not so well chick, giving her supplemental yoke, and Bovine colostrum to give her a boost.
Will repeat today a few times as it might give her the needed kick to start her up again. Just seems weak and wants to lay under the light to stay warm.
Good thing was she was up grooming/pecking/drinking at the end of the day.
The only thing that didn't get done was the front doorbell, the push button fell apart as it was being installed. This is a replacement for the one that fell apart during the installation process when I tried a year and a half ago.
The electrician said:"I'm thinking this would work really well if I went down and installed this ''" thing off the end of the dock Jim . Just saying I hate being defeated by such a small thing as this."
