Yesterday I took my winter camo helmet (the one I painted, not original - well the shell is original, nothing else is), and stripped it of paint and put a sandy textured gray paint on it just like some germans did in the war. Norway, Normandy and other coastal units were known for this. Pics later.


I also secured a deal on a neat Panzer Assault Badge, recovered from the Demyansk Pocket, South of Leningrad Russia. It belonged to a member of the 3rd Waffen SS "Totenkompf" Panzer division, a brutal force consisting of ex-Dachau concentration camp guards, and SS men high up on the social and physical totem poles of Germany. These men were notorious for war crimes, massacres and brutality. I don't think I'm going to keep it for long. I believe I'll use it as a trade piece.

Day before Halloween, was known, colloquially, as "moving day".

Things got moved. Like cars pushed to the next house, trashcans on top of garages, doghouses in trees, and other naughtiness.

Nothing destructive, just creative mayhem.
