Morning WD, GB

Good morning GB. :hello:
I think that's the first time I've ever said hello to you, of course, we are 2hrs ahead here in the eastern time zone.

Well, I'm off, I have a 10am job interview at United Rentals here in town.
Hope everyone has a great Wednesday!

I have to say actually being the youngest in the family and having a hippy sister had benefits.
It was a music festive of sorts coming from the record player across the hall.
Just bamboo curtains on the doorways didn't stop the sounds.
It was the Beatles, and the Stones-Get off my cloud was a well played tune-Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Heart Band album cover was a interesting item to savour when a young lad.

Best of luck with the interview Dave.:icon_thumright:

Dave
As my old territory manager use to say. " Stop right here and let's knock um dead." Not literally.:laughing7: Have a good interview.

Was well on with the couch surfing already in life (Too young actually) when this was released.
Though the memories of dancing around with the sister-in-law while the album played in the house of party.

Mornin all!

Variety has been my thing. Stephen Foster crude records on up. Jagged edges type old early records to older sisters and parents records as a youth. And of course the radio...

Possum. Oh yes.
Think is was George , who drove the riding mower to get to town when driving was restricted, from drinking probably...

All this talk of music.

I don't have a "favorite" gendre.
I have favorite "pieces".

As you can see from my smattering list:

Not necessarily in this order.

"The Winner"
"Old Dogs Children & Watermelon Wine"
"8 Days A Week"
"Legs!"
"Grand March from Aida"
"I Can't Dance"
"Beethoven's 5th"
"Moonlight Sonata"
"Amazing Grace-(bagpipes)"
"Hello Wall- (Ben Colder)"
"Song Sung Blue"
"Windsong"
"Mmmbop!"
"Cattle Call"
"Water- Sons of The Pioneers (with Roy Rogers)"
"Happy Trails( - written by Dale Evans)"

Get my drift?

You look up the artists. :)

And....just as an aside...trivia...

Didja know?

"Battle Hymn of the Republic"
"When Johnny Comes Marching Home Again"

Two famous Civil War era songs? The former? Originated in the south. The latter? From the North. :tongue3:

Well no beer for this guy this evening off for my annual blood works at the hospital early in the a.m. Now with the covid it's by appointment rather than herded together in a waiting room.

Probably the usual protocol mask, hand sanitizing, temperature, questionaire, etc...
