Those poor people in Louisiana... and /or Texas...

The storm surge is gonna be crazy this time... last time surge was not that bad... well... could have been much worse... but I don't think its going to play out the same way.

This thing went from a 2 to a 4... no 3... just straight from a 2 to a 4... it will have interaction with land... then emerge and feed on pure fuel.

North Gulf better put on their seatbelts.

I feel for them... for this is like a reoccurring nightmare AGAIN.

Rock on Eddie!

Plenty of vids to pick from including some great concert footage , solo's ect.
But I like the simple things or early origins sometimes when not quite polished but not newly fresh. When it is starting to really click.
. More so when contrasting with the usual expectations...

A young Eddie.
Folks are simply jammin and really enjoying it...
It's great that Paul jumped in with enthusiasm on the keyboard when there was no vocalist. Another unpolished beginning of a moment that shines.
Eddie smiling at him is part of the jams spirit , because Paul is tryin. Heck , he had to jam! And that smile of concerted spirit was all Eddie.

2005 Wilma bounced off cancun Cat 5 and hit central florida,,AARC,,in the keys the bay water flooded out alot of property...we will see if history repeats itself...i think its staying on north track???

Good morning Tnet folks

Just to clarify, I was never a fan of David Lee Roth.

It was Sammy Hagar who really made Van Halen.
As Eddie so eloquently put it... "he's just an ego"!

This is one of my favourite live performances ever by Van Halen in 1995 at the Ontario Place Forum in Toronto...

See I wanna know your age. :)

For you must be younger than I... for all Halen Heads are DLR fans... kinda like Zeppelin without Plant.

David had the better voice by far.

Well ARC, I'm 56, so when this concert was played I was 30.
I became an avid country music fan in 1983, but I've remained a Van Halen/Hagar fan all my life.

I always found David Lee Roth was all about David, yes he had the voice, but his arrogance and ego rubbed me the wrong way. :laughing7:

Why, how old are you?

Gee who would of thought that you liked country Dave. What a surprise! :laughing7:

I may of liked/tolerated a few songs done by either of them, but I never even bought any of their recordings. Might of had VH on a mixed greatest hits tape at one time but there's nothing that stood out in my mind that would be a memory.
Reading up on his life he lost a lot of quality of life over the years from just being the rocker early on-paid the price for the vices. As so many before him-and many will go down the same road.

Morning AARC, pepperj and Dave

When you play country backwards...

The wife and dog come back.

You MUCH older than I... I turned 21 for the 6th time last week. :P

I have always found there very few left in any country song. They either left or died-then again the claim was " Can drink more to country than rock and roll" So here's to the tears in the beer country lovers.:occasion14:
