The neighbor came out and started shouting at me !! He came very close to getting punched in the mouth !! Screaming cuss words at me from 2 feet away will get you punched.....and he was lucky enough to back off when he saw smoke coming out my ears !! He says I cut down his tree on our property ?? And now he was gonna call the county on me. I told him if he didn't get off the property the only people he would need to call would be an ambulance. I gave him more than one hard push in the back until he was off the property. I told him if he put his pinky toe across the property line ill call the law right before I begin your a** beating. I then called the owner of the lot who came down in under 5 minutes with the police.....I got a minor chastising about threatening him but was told I was within my rights and he was trespassing. I will be right up on his fence line this afternoon with my detector. This guy had on a fanny pack....or a man purse...at the height of his cussing I cut him off and said "unless you got a gun in your stupid fanny pack, you better shut the fu.. up and back off" he's just pissed the vacant lot is getting built on right next door to him. Oh well buddy....get used to neighbors.

I had documents of a college digging them in the sixties (?) with no sign of burials , but other interesting notes.

There are artifacts on my property, signs of hunting. My friend and I dream of the "what ifs" all the time. We would love to find more here. I am supposedly part NA, but have been unsuccessful in establishing the definite link. I have a possible that would/could be Wyandot. I wish I could prove it. Finding out that I have NA lineage has always stirred a sense of pride in me. I don't know why. :dontknow: The Miami would be the frequenters on this land most likely.

Boundary conflicts are nothing new.

Show me the boundary line before you get all excited and start making accusations , is about how I put it to a drunk behind me.
He didn't know who's property he was clearing a trail on through the woods. And thought kids (including his) should be able to drive it , and party on it at night.
I covered my survey stakes. As the trail was just beyond them...
Left the yelling for a neighbor when the drunk was putting bullets through the woods and whizzing through that neighbors yard.
And he's the kind of neighbor I wouldn't yell at....

Not sure how , but after a former neighbor inspired the sale of an adjacent parcel and dropped the ball on it due to price , the eventual buyer cut trees on the neighbors property .
A good guy the buyer. But obviously not good at determining boundaries.

Sometime you gotta push back or get stomped on. Weve been fortunate to have good neighbours over the years. just one was a bit of a pest but nothing we couldnt put up with.
 

Our backdoor neighbour is not a happy camper. She's a full time/part time emergency nurse with 3 young kids and now because of the cases spiking in Montreal she got drafted to work full time odds are in the covid section.

People are such idiots by not following the proper protocol and putting others and themselves at risk. End of rant!

sad day guys, I'm sure many of you know this by now
as a teenager of the 1980s I only had my hair, my lady, and my rock and roll
as a middle aged man...I no longer have the hair or the lady any longer and now the rock and roll has died a little bit too
To this day I still love listening to the boys of Van Halen belting out all the tunes i know and love and always will
I was always crazy about the guitar pickers and players and Eddie Van Halen was nothing but top shelf all day every day
sad that he won't be making music with us any longer but his story won't ever go away...he was that good!

Bart you showed restraint, it's hard to do when you haven't done wrong.

The easiest way to shut them up is a simple phrase: Well if you don't like it-you should of bought it.
Let them make the decision up then.
In other words: Put up-or shut up.

A lady was lamenting to another buddy about a 2 lot property on the island that was going to be sold.

Lady: "I can't imagine having to look at houses in my view."
Buddy: "Buy them then"

She did-so she put up.
Now only looks on water and field
