Dave, good luck with the Yale interview. Side note. My largest customer was the Hyster/ Yale manufacturing plant in Sulligent Alabama.

Thanks Rook, we'll see if they're willing to step up 'pay-wise', I'm also looking to choose my own territory.
I'm still dealing with the head-hunter, so I'll have to let you know.

Oh that will be an exciting day-and you already know it's a she so that's half the battle and twice the expense. You have your chance to get a boy Dave-even up the numbers in the household.:laughing7:
Remember the pre/post visits to the breeder, milage added up was like a trip half way across Canada-worth every cent though.

Yes you're going for a ride buddy.
I slept on the floor in front of his crate for the first two nights-he sept on my arm/hand for security.
18 trips out a day for a pee-should of bought him a diaper instead.
6 yrs ago-he's a great dog now.
After the puppy stage the Mrs looked at me and we both said "Puppies are over rated":laughing7:

What a great looking pic of Max Jim... kids, they're only little for a little while. :sadsmiley:

I missed AntiQ. I hope you have a great hunt, Dave! :metaldetector:

Thanks WD, I was having a good hunt... that is until I had to make a dash back home to use 'The Loo'. :tongue3:

Race home, shovel prevention of white flags in the field.

Rofl! Another advantage to hunting your own property! [emoji1787][emoji2957][emoji1787][emoji2957][emoji1787][emoji90]

I have a rant! (ARC said it is was okay to rant and that I do it all the time, so here it is! LOL)

We have this farmer’s market that we have stopped at almost every year for the 17years we have been staying at Lake Erie. They have all kinds of pumpkins and gourds, many varieties of apples and the best darn apple cider we’ve ever drank. This year we stopped and got a 1/2 peck of Macintosh apples and 1/4 of Honeycrisp and 3 gallons of cider. All of it is tart as all get out! Makes you pucker just like you do when you bite into a lemon!

Ok rant is out there.

That’s a bummer. Your mouth was probably really watering for it too.
Maybe next year, try ONE first, before loading up :icon_thumleft: :skullflag:

Why thank you Bill,
We are all hanging in there. We have a lot of family in Oregon, mostly in bedroom communities of Portland, about 1/2 hour out. They’ve been staying away from Portland stuff, but the fires and all the smoke was definitely problematic. Several were ready to evacuate, but ended up not having to.

How about you and yours?

Good afternoon mates.
It’s good to hear that most are at the least, making do.
I haven’t seen much from a couple of mates (wasn’t lurking so to speak, just being quiet I guess),
and starting to have some concern.
Simon for several months, and MsBeepBeep for almost as long.

Has anybody heard if they are ok?
Lots of stuff has gone on, is all.

Russ,

We're doing well....the reduced level of socializing is a pain but other than that we're fairing ok.

Afternoon Idahodutch

Afternoon Rook, and RC. :hello:

I hope weather has improved out there, garden took a hit a few times, but been very nice for a couple days in a row! Even may last a few more. Chilly mornings though, upper 30’s. Afternoons around 80 and clear blue sky’s.
Ahhhh, it’s all part of life :coffee2:

Hello Idaho! Good to here from you!

Typically I can’t keep hubby away from the free cider sampler. We were in a hurry to get in and out because there was no parking and we had truck and trailer along a busy road. I’m going to attempt apple cobbler this weekend. That’s pretty sugary. I will try to get a pic and let you all know how it turns out.

Msbeep is still swimming around. Just not much time for posting, I assume (grandkids). As a matter of fact, I got at least 50 “likes” from Msbeep today.

Simon is a different story. He had a lot of trees down from that big storm and that’s the last he’s posted. I have been searching obituaries going by what little information I have on him: first name, state, age, and a pic. I’ve not made a match. I know he was working on a book, so I am hoping that is what he is doing.

Hillbilly Prince is MIA also. Anyone know about his status?
