flooded another equinox......and found nothing but trash !! Mine lab will know my name good.....I'll just keep sending them in until they won't take it back !! Im one year into my 3 year warranty and this will be the third replacement control pod. These units cannot work reliably in half there rated waterproof depth !! And thats the truth of it. So now I'll post up another failed nox and start to argue with the same three or 4 knuckle heads who defend these failures. I just love when someone thinks they are a water hunter and the big test for the machine is to submerge it in the bathtub......if thats the case you not a real water hunter if you have to use a bath tub to test it. The next person that says that to me im gonna ask how many finds they've made in the tub !! I guess I'm hunting the wrong spot and all the doubloons are found in the bath tub !!

Oh I'm very familiar with the Warranty dept. Sent the 3030 into them 5 yrs ago-got it back-got to Engalnd and the sucker failed on the start up of my hunt. The cottage owner lent me his Etrac.
I threw the 3030 into the back corner-and that's where it sits today.

Rub a dub-dub-three techs in a tub. :laughing7:

Jim,

Just +3 overnight but supposed to be milder temps the rest of the week.

Morning Bill
Getting the frosts of late?
Yesterday we were spared but it's cooler and damper this morning so I think we'll get another hit.

Nice buddy, it's no wonder you live in the middle of a forest and only have the trees and your chickens to talk to. :laughing9:

Got to love it buddy-hug a tree-instead of a steel lamp post.

Me dog loves me still-as long as he gets his playtime in.

Anyway, I guess I should get dressed and start looking for my new career... after all it is Monday morning. :laughing7:

Hope everyone has a great day!

1C out right now-heavy frost set in now.
I guess it's a look see what survived in the gardens later after it warms up.
There's only so much a person can cover up at one time.

I used a bunch of John manville 1" insulation boards to cover the squash garden up. Hope enough will survive to get them to the ripening stage.
Have sheets/towels covering some tomato plants to get them through this cold snap.
We'll certainly loose things-ground cherries take so long to grow/ripen as they're just coming in now.

Always said I'm only 2 days away from having a job....
The 1st one to look for it.
2nd one was to start it.

Best of luck Dave in looking, your skills are needed behind some door-just have to knock on the right one.

Then again I was the worse employee-because I treated the management like trees and chickens. "Friggin bird brains-dumb as stumps" the lot were.:laughing7:

Of all female rock singers, she appears the most emancipated: a small girl leading an all-man group in which she herself plays bass guitar. The image is of a tomboy, lank-haired, tight-bottomed and (twice) tattooed; a rocker, a brooder, a loner, a knife-carrier; a hell-cat, a wild cat, a storm child, refugee from the frightened city of Detroit.

Had a many good night with the friends driving around having a many
:occasion14: to her tunes. This one the gals liked to have playing-the guys were :dontknow:

The trick is....knowing one is smarter than those around them and *never* saying that or acting like they know better.

As soon as one does...they, then, will have to *prove* the thought.

WHADIFIND, you are supposed to prove yourself first, then take your boss's job.

I ended up "straw boss" on a couple jobs. The Straw Boss never makes the big money but at least they don't go home bitter because the real boss tells them to do something unreasonable.

Oh , that would bug me....
If a seal can't stop the problem , pressurization should. But how to compensate for ambient pressure changes?
A gauge and tire pump? L.o.l.

Design seems suspect. Or a material not suiting original specs. If properly designed to keep water out in the first place.

Ooops. Civility first?

Mornin all!
Maple leaves falling. Early birds. More to come in time.
Nice time of year in the midwest , despite summers fade.

Too bad there were no good paying job openings for people to just hang out on a website... LIKE Tnet, :)

Jim,

Time to set up a hoop house to extend the gardening season at both ends. I'm tempted to give it a shot.

"Boss" is overrated. I've known too many "bosses" who had to prove, to themselves, that *they* were the *BOSS*!
Everybody else knew they were. :dontknow:

I had bosses over the years that I had to train. They had the masters in business but didn't know how to make a sales call. Then as they progressed up the latter after a few years, they said Rook who?

Rook,

Been there done that....kind of felt like a dinosaur at the tail end of my career. Luckily there were some of the younger crowd who appreciated my expertize.

Still it was time to pass the torch and move on.
