Just be careful, things that bite live in holes.
Happy treasure hunting to you.

Any time Bill, it's the least I can do...my other talent would bring down T Net, ship and all!
Thanks for all the great recipes and gardening tips. :icon_thumleft:

I stuck my coil in a hole, it went beep. I dug it out. Still wondered if I was going to become an eat.

Afternoon GB1.

I am going to slide off the ship and swim for a while, see what kind of trouble I can get into.:laughing7:

There is always that chance, depends on who is hungrier you, or "it"!

Good afternoon anyone and of course everyone!

Did the trimming. parts delivery, still have 5 chickens, excavator sitting in the shop yard. Did the estimating on yearly project budget, now I have a hard time eating.

It's just money right?-With heavy gulp.

I remember when we did the island house-the stars/moon/sun and every other entity aligned one day-everyone showed up-even if they weren't scheduled.

14 trucks parked on the road-23 guys-and for 10 hrs it "Jim-what do you want me to do with this/how do you want me to do this?"

I hated being the general-the shoulders were sore after 11 months of 12hr/7 day a week.

Thanks Jim, sounds like you've got your hands full with your driveway.
Of course, when you live in a mansion it's expected that you would have a long winding driveway and a guard dog.

No great finds to speak of... a suspender clip and the back off a pocket watch.
The fall wheat stubble was standing 6" tall in some spots, so getting the coil close to the ground was a challenge.

Here's a view of the site at 5:30am when I arrived and a pic of your ferocious guard dog! :laughing7:

I have your mug shot on the wall, have him trained pretty good now.

I say breakfast and he goes full on nut case guard dog. :laughing7:

Mansion in the bush. I think if we omitted the I this would be close.

That was a pretty big field Dave, what setting did you have on this morning?

Hope you dialled it down to 10acres per hour speed.:laughing7:

Off to do some fencing.

Bill if you want wild grape, I have a car load of organic for you anytime you want. I could fill a P/U load if you require more. It's all yours buddy.

So finished off prepping the marinated eggplant and put in a 2 liter jar(about 70 oz). and added some grated carrot and garlic to the kale should be able to fit it into a 26 oz jar.

Morning Idaho and Rook.
Ya, uh Idaho, I borrowed a little strawberry lemonade to add to the butter rum...and boy is it good!

Msbeepbeep,
I bet it went down real good. Sounds like I gotta try that. :hello:

This is the first we tried carrots in part of one of the raised gardens.
Only planted one package of seeds and ended up with about 70 carrots growing.
I wrongly assumed that you just wait for them to flower and then pull them. I didn’t know that most carrots won’t flower until the 2nd year. Have to leave a couple in the ground over the winter and then will flower.
I only found out because we do have one carrot that did go to flower anyway. The misses said it must be a weed, because it is so much taller than all the other carrot tops, by like 2’ taller.
Just looked it up, not a weed. Just got lucky. It’s been about 80 - 85 days since sowing. I think I’m going to pull one to see how it is. Then it’s on to making strawberry Juice.

Well, not time yet for the carrots yet. These supposed to get pretty long, the one I pulled is about 5-1/2” , but tastes good.
And the one with a flower top, the flower top is a only about 15” taller than the other carrot tops, not 2’ taller.

Thinning carrots again last week , I ate a couple that were about two inches long. Not too filling.
Tops are several inches tall.

Dutch,

Good luck with the carrot harvest....they're biannuals so go to seed the 2nd year.
