Good morning Iadho, Simon, Tom, ARC, Anti, Rook, Bill, Pepper, TC, GB, Bart, WHADIFIND,WD when ya get here, and all of our awesome crew!

Well Bart nothing like a stroll under the Manzanilla tree! Vengeful tree! I assume all the wild life stay away from it.

Toe. very nice bunch of finds. That is a large number of keys. I think I have sympathy knee pain for ya, that's a lot of kneeling and digging.

Idaho I try to stay on the ship but WHADI has some good butter rum...between that and grand kids that come and go in the blink of an eye, I'm lucky to be upright some days.
Some of that strawberry concentrate
In the butter rum...yum, yum!:icon_thumleft:

Rook those grand kids are fast and they tag team ya. Just picked up the box of pictures the 2 yr old knocked over in one room, only to come back and find the 1yr old in his walker strolled over and knocked over the trash can!

Morning Beeps.

I see Bart in lingering in the shadows.

Good morning Bart.

Morning Captain!
As long as he's not lingering under the Manzanilla tree!

Morning Bill, has our heat wave reached you up there? 4-5 days in the 90's here. Little rain.

Well I headed out early after breakfast to do some urban foraging. The black raspberries are dwindling maybe 1/3 of a cup, however, the municipality does mixed planting along one of the streets in the old part of town. I guess the locals didn't notice that there were probably a dozen or more plants of dinosaur or tuscan kale.

Rather than let it go to waste I helped myself to a good portion to make some sauerkraut also along the edge of one of the parks there's a big patch of wild grape plants. So I picked some of those also. I'll be fermenting those also for stuffing later on.

Last but not least there a couple of eggplants that were sliced yesterday and salted and weighed down to get excess water out. I'll be rinsing them later, slicing and processing in red wine vinegar and water then packing in jars with fennel seeds, garlic, basil and oregano. Probably do a mild jar and another add some chilli peppers for a kick.

Beeps,
We've had high heat and not much rain for much of June and July. Forecast for today high of 91f.

Morning Bill, has our heat wave reached you up there? 4-5 days in the 90's here. Little rain.

Must be all that hot air from down here, from a certain unnamed place.:dontknow::laughing7:

Mornin All!

Just added Bart's trees to the list of places that don't need to be detected....:laughing7:
I'd rather confess to crimes I didn't commit first!

Morning Dave, good luck on the hunt.

Gee our crops are still a little green down this way, still be a few weeks before any grains start coming off.

The one permission bought out a small farm, century old house and 50 acres, so I'm waiting for the Barley to come off.

Thanks Jim, sounds like you've got your hands full with your driveway.
Of course, when you live in a mansion it's expected that you would have a long winding driveway and a guard dog.

No great finds to speak of... a suspender clip and the back off a pocket watch.
The fall wheat stubble was standing 6" tall in some spots, so getting the coil close to the ground was a challenge.

Here's a view of the site at 5:30am when I arrived and a pic of your ferocious guard dog! :laughing7:

Morning RC. Ya it looks like Bart has that place all to himself.

Good morning MsBB, Bart, Toe and Bill!

Off to do the lawn grooming now before it gets too hot.

That is a large area AntQ. Hope more finds will move their way closer to the top soil for ya.

Keep your eyes open, I once found a $20 with a snowblower, and it didn't shred it!

Good morning mateys,
Msbeepbeep, Anti, RC, Bill, ARC, Bart, pepperj, GB1, Tom, WD, Toecutter, whadi, rook, Simon, and memory quit all of a sudden.
Came in for refreshments, and headed back out To finish up mowing. Going to make room for one of those 30” high x 13’ round swim (float) pool. So Will be shuffling some trailers around, and get the hose going. Takes a while to fill. Then back to the strawberries. Running out of strawberry lemonade. :icon_thumright:

Morning Beep, Dutch, Anti and RC.

Morning Idaho and Rook.
Ya, uh Idaho, I borrowed a little strawberry lemonade to add to the butter rum...and boy is it good!
