Ok... now... time for more coffee.

Just read up on the squash vine borer.
Reasons being I had one of my better vertical squash plants have a case of leaf wilt. Thought it was lack of watering but it never really recovered. So I'll investigate the root stem this morning-then if there's a hole either do a C-section to do the larvae removal or wait till dark and do a candling (1000 lumens)on the stem and stab the larvae with a toothpick or needle.
Maybe I'll just play this one in the mind while doing the task.

Little chance for precip.today and all week here. Bush hogging my peas today. The deer have won.

Morning rook & Bill, seems like all we ever talk about these days is the hot weather.
Four months from now, we'll all be complaining about the early onset of winter. :laughing7:

Over the next few days I have to do a cost analysis to either buy or lease a vehicle for a job I'm interviewing for next week.
I've always worked for large OEM's who've provided a company vehicle to their outside sales staff.

If the companies car allowance is decent I can see it being viable, my only concern is if I were to loose the job due to a COVID induced economic recession in the next year. :icon_scratch:

I'd be interested to hear what you all think.

Been in there now for 27yrs.

Morning Anti.

Good morning ARC.

I read the post you made in February about the log cabin being discovered during a house demolition in PA. very interesting.

It reminded me of a log cabin I saw being uncovered during the demolition of a 1950s house in Brockville, ON a number of years ago.
I emailed the pics to a company in Perth, ON that specialized in log cabin reclamation & reconstruction.

They told me, "that based on the log construction, the cabin likely dated to the late-19thc and wasn't worth saving." :BangHead:
This made me mad, as since when is local history like this not worth saving, the building owner was also willing to give it to them at no cost.

Hopefully, the Borough officials in Washingtonville, Pa. agreed to spend the money to save this beautiful building. :icon_scratch:
