Oh my goodness! Thank you Idaho and rchair for the funny break for the office girls! You had us rolling!

Afternoon GB, RC, ID, TC,WIF, WD and special hello to Bart (I don't want to forget me) :laughing7:

Morning / afternoon... GB... RC... WD... Idaho.

Sounds like a Rap song ... "GB RC WD IDAHO"... on the down low... oh oh oh... I type while the wind blows... oh oh oh.... don't ya knkow... ok gotta go.

:P~~~

Well I tried to convince the chickens to go to the fenced in area. Nope didn't want anything to do with the run, just hung close to the barn/home area, so they got spooked the other day with the fox trying to get them. Tried to buy an electric kit/poultry mesh supplies. :laughing7::laughing7::laughing7: Ok I get the message-try back in 2021 you say.:icon_scratch:

PepperJ,
Something that has helped me was something I did not expect. I do a call to the chickens when I am going to give them a treat.
Now, when I do the call, they all come running (except the two chubby ones, they just do the best they can to keep up with the others).

When I need to move them to the other yard, I just do the call, but you DO need to give the treat . . . don't want to cry wolf lol.
Surprising how well that works. :coffee2: :laughing7:

Afternoon ARC,
Not bad for a lick on the cuff like that. :headbang:

Well I got the chickens back in the run this afternoon, Max is keeping watch at the moment while I have a nice curry mango chicken sandwich for lunch.

Finished up the freezer portion of the blueberries this morning/afternoon.
Making blueberry jam at the moment as well, two different pots on the go.
1 is straight blueberries nothing will be added, just reduce on a low heat till it's thickened up.
The other I added my Maple syrup to it for a richer taste, and it will be reduced to a very thick jam.
This will be the base for my candy chews that I put a dab on a half pecan. (Tray of 40 halves will last 30 minutes at a gathering of 10)
I've done all sorts of combinations over the years from a soft taffy to a Humbug.
Best one is 1/2 pint of maple syrup, 4oz of organic salted butter, bring it up to 200F pour it a silicone tray, put it in the freezer.
Basically it's a 2 per person hit and one can feel a sugar rush go through the body. :laughing7:

Back to jam, chickens, gardens................

Man that sure sounds delicious Jim! :D

Keeping supper simple tonight....my wife marinated some chicken breasts with yoghurt, garlic and lemon juice which will be grilled.

I steamed some yellow beans from the garden and I'll finish them off in a pan with some butter, salt and pepper to get them roasted a bit. Some zucchini slices breaded will be done in the air fryer. Not sure on the starch maybe some egg noodles.

Good evening, Antiquarian, ARC, Bart, Bill, GB, Idaho, Msbeep, Pepperj, Peyton (he lurks, trust me), releventchair, rook, rusty, Simon,Tom( maybe lurking), WHADI, and Worldtalker.

Now, who did I forget?

I've emailed folks all day about selling the STG magazines. We'll see what happens tomorrow. In other news, something I ordered got lost in the mail, and me and the seller both came to an agreement on something else.

I also put in a request to another fellow who has two 37mm tank shells. One is a rusty 37mm AP U.S. shell, used in light tanks such as the Stuart, the M22, and the M2A2. Another is a WWII German stamped practice shell, for the Pak anti-tank gun. The PAK gun was the best German anti-tank gun in the early war, and devastated Polish and light Russian armor.
