***ARC hears 2 words which causes him to spew his gulp of rum***

RUM KEY ? ? ?

What Rum key ? ? ?

There is not such a treasure... this is legend... myth.... that treasure is blah blah blah.... nothing more than fantasy !

***ARC slowly without drawing attention checks his boot to see if he still feels the Rum Room Key***

Jim,

We got several small showers today also. picked some more wild black raspberries this afternoon and back to the domestic variety after supper.

The garden is keeping us hopping these days for sure. The leaf lettuce is going to head but the pickling cucumbers are starting to produce and the yellow bush beans also.

Did a garden/shop/dock area pick of berries 1lb 1oz.

1 1/2" rain last night total.:headbang:

20200712_200124.jpg shipwreck wood with bronze fasteners. 20200712_200132.jpg

It was beautiful out there bill...islamoradamark and I spent 5 hours in the water. There was about 15 ballast stones in the chest deep water scattered about. I also got some spanish olive jar shards, and a huge 5 foot turn buckle off a sailing ship. I left everything but the wood with the fasteners. I am trying different preservation techniques with the wood. I may try emerision in acrylic urethane under vacum on this one. Mark is recovering from shoulder surgery so I had the keys to his boat today....I dont think he minded relaxing while I navigated to the spot. After ward we drove out to the main ballast mound and free dove it. I did a drift and free dove around but the vis goes quick here and it went from 30 ft. Vis. To 8 ft. Vis. In 15 minutes with strong current. Mark picked me up before the tiger sharks got me and we hit the road !!

I have zippo knowledge one cannon balls so I did a query on What is it.
http://www.treasurenet.com/forums/what/637227-cannon-ball.html

Found it under part of the foundation stone in the middle of the cellar hole.
Took probably 15 minutes to get the rock out from under the root that ran over top.
Then another 6" under that the ball came up now here's whereat gets weird. I fill the hole in and detected the dirt again and I get a screaming signal ???
So I dig a little and there's another ball.
Now I'm really thinking after I take a picture of the second one that I should put them side by side.
But the blood thirsty bugs were so bad that taking a picture was worth a few bites.
SO the pouch is getting heavy, so I need gloves, another drink so I head back up to the truck.
I only have one ball ??? did I drop it back in the hole and thought I had dug 2. Still doing the :icon_scratch: now,
The place is really not the friendliest place to swing a coil, spent more time on the knees crawling under limbs.

Jim,

Well certainly looks like a cannonball to me dimensions and weight are the keys insofar as my limited knowledge is concerned.

Say what....no one has said good morning yet....I'm first to say good morning.....that's a first.

Morning Bart.... yep it seems you are the early bird today.

ARC....I wonder sometimes if you even sleep at all....seems like your up at 4 am every day.
