Folks,

Back around the beginning of June we had some small potatoes that had sprouted and they were kind of shrivelled up. So rather than
tossing them I decided on a lark to plant them.

As you can see lots of them are tiny but managed a few decent sized ones I'd say about 5 lbs. Next year I'll probably try again but about the beginning of April and I'll use some large sized plastic containers we have lying around.

I bought some swret potatos and forgot to use one until it dyarted to shrivel. I cut a couple of eyes out and them in two flower pots. They grew into beautiful plants. No sweet potato harvest however.

Not sure but believe sweet potatoes require a very long growing season.

Here's a good video that shows you how to grow sweet potatoes in containers from scratch.
