Even a blind dog will eventualy did up a bone!
Well, its a lot like watching those ROADRUNNER cartoons-you know the outcome, but it is fun to watch the coyote's plans and schemes and the many ACME gadgets he orders in attempts at catching that roadrunner.
BEEP! BEEP!
OK everybody calm down. BDD you know you are enjoying this entire fiasco.
BDD this is one part that I fail to understand. I feel that I possess some common sense which seems to be lacking here. You are telling us that your map dowser picked this spot from over 1000 miles away and that there may only be junk in the hole!!!!! C'mon man use some common sense lol. I dont know squat about dowsing but Im sure I can point to junk on a map lol especially in a disturbed construction area and I bet that I will be 50 percent successful if you dig a large enough hole..
Im not trying to argue, I just dont get it. But we will wait and see. Yes of course if you find something it will open my eyes.
I hope you dont feel we are ganging up on you.
BDD,its time to start DIDDING!!! LOLWell the first thing he has to do is get out of the house and start didding...

I know you do. You love it.I like it when you all try to gang up on me. Keep at it. I find it all amusing.
It depends upon what you consider junk. Maybe Im wrong but yes I think 50 percent of the time a 3-4 foot diameter hole in front of a building such as an old house or church will have some coins, foil, construction debris, canslaw, pop tops, wire, nails whatever. If you find junk you will think that map dowsing actually works? What do you consider a large enough hole? I am going to dig in the center of a 3-4 foot circle. Do you honestly think you will find junk in 50% of every hole you dig? Come on man, use your not very common sense. Do you need me to help you open your eyes?
All I can do is shake my head in disbelief but Aquanut John says that you really believe in what you are doing so I have to say go for it. Good luck and thanks for keeping us informed.I went to the church site this afternoon. Talked to my new pal about the contract and digging. He has been busy but will try to get the revised contract to me tonight via e-mail. We are going to try to shoot for a dig this coming Saturday. I found out that he has lived on the property since he was born well over 50 years ago. He told me there was an old well pipe that got concreted over many years ago and that it is close to the area of where I think the treasure is. Without showing him the exact spot it appears that this abandoned well is around 30 feet from the spot that I was given for the possible treasure.
I have found that you will find trash of all sorts buried all over the place down here in Florida. Maybe it is that way everywhere, I don't know. I generally find metal trash when I dig because there is usually a metal detector involved and that is why we are digging. If anyone reading this thinks they can look into a Google Earth photo and see anything at all with whatever means, then take a chance and dig for it. My guy has been working at this for a long time and feels very confident that he has put me on a treasure. Just for the heck of it I am going to post a photo taken today at the site that has at least one of the two treasure sites on this property within the photo. I am not into just digging random holes. There is way more to this than some of you think.
View attachment 1010018 This is the church site. At this point not a single shovel full of dirt has been dug. Within this picture is a spot that I was given by a person over a thousand miles away that has never been there and located by his own special method starting from 20 miles up on Google Earth. After looking at all of Sarasota Florida this one of only two spots he came up with. I really have nothing to gain by putting all this on TNET other than if something is found it will be actual PROOF that dowsing type abilities can work and also LRL's as a second TNET member was able to use a device of his own making to get to the same exact spot from hundreds of feet away with no direction from me.
If anyone wants to give his opinion as to the merits or lack of with this photo and spot please do so.

Any chance that you could elaborate on the past finds of your map dowser?
BDD Nice manicured lawn. This should be good. You will definitely need to bring along a few pallets of sod and a roller.
Has the site owner seen your photos of the Englewood dig with Ovid/Orvid standing over that hole?

You did say that you would share the photos. Can you take a shot of the lawn "after"?
Are you talking about this photo from 1987? View attachment 1010040
I am not digging this site with a backhoe. I will be using a shovel. I have gotten so good at digging and filling holes that if I took a picture of the same site when I am done you will not be able to tell where I dug. Yes I will include photos.
BDD did mention a well pipe that had been concreted over-could that have been an active artesian well that was capped off to stop the flow? And I am told that you did find a lot in that hole. Sewer pipe. And I don't mean cannons.

If you like wells, how about this one that I dug by hand in Englewood back in 1992.
