For Erin Helton's Theory...To Be Outside The Box...She Would Need Box Cutters!

Erin's Theory has many...Irregularities Within!

Distance...Old French or English?

When she is mentioning a distances of 1065 feet circumference and 522 feet tunnel distance... she has failed to take into account that these distances are not English …but pre 1747 French "King Feet" Measurements!

The French foot in 1725 would have been 315.6mm or 1.035 of a British foot measurement, and this would need to be taken into account.

“The mediaeval royal units of length were based on the toise and in particular the toise de l'…critoire, the distance between the fingertips of the outstretched arms of a man which was introduced in 790 AD by Charlemagne. The toise had 6 pieds (feet) each of 326.6 mm (12.86 in). In 1668 the reference standard was found to have been deformed and it was replaced by the toise du Châtelet which, to accommodate the deformation of the earlier standard, was 11 mm (0.55%) shorter. In 1747 this toise was replaced by a new toise of near-identical length.”

Her 1065 English Feet measurement would be...Way Off!

Degrees From Money Pit.

Compass degrees.gif

Erin shows the tunnel from the Money pit going off at a 45 degree angle but this is not so...her degree is 315 degrees.

45 Degree Angle would be going off in the other direction.

Nolan's Cross

Erin has Nolan's Cross pointing to the Northern Anchor Stone.

Nolan's Cross is not a Cross but the Constellation Cygnus and the top stone should have been offset by 7 Degrees until Fred Nolan rearranged it.

This would mean she is 200 feet off of where her top Anchor Stone should be located.

Stone Markers

All previous Stone Markers were Drilled Stones.

Since nolan’s cross was made of stones placed by nolan I doubt it points to anything....even after rearranging it to fit other fictional tales.....as far as Cygnus goes one would need a space /time warp tunnel to get there then look back to oak island with an alien telescope to see that it aligns with the same thing that all the hoax promoters already know...NOTHING....

The 45 degrees reveals a slope of 45 degrees not an angle horizonal for 522 ft. So it is taken you to a deeper depth since you start at the 90 ft level. Then you go for 1065 ft.

Digging a tunnel at 45° down for 1065 feet would put you 753 feet deeper than when you started. Digging 522 feet at a 45° angle would put you about 370 feet deeper.

Is that including the 90 ft depth you started out with when you made the tunnel 522 feet at 45 degree angle. Then you would be down below 460 feet level.

Someone explain this..........The cross found at oak island was made, from lead, that came from a mine, in the region, and the same time period, the Templar's occupied France.
The prison some of them were held in (in France) has an Exact sketch on the walls of that cross.
A few hundred years ago the Earth was Hugh, and the Atlantic even bigger.
So whats the "odds" of that(Templar) Cross traveling across the entire ocean.... To wind up on one small island known as Oak Island.....Answer is Zero :) ! Proof positive Knights Templar were on that 'little island' :)

Not a templar cross......lead fishing weight.....

It was not an “EXACT” match by any means, more of a slight similarity.

When and by what professional laboratory and academic organization confirmed the lead's origin and its connection to the Templars?

In one episode 3 years ago,Shortly after they found the cross. And they followed up again on it a year later....Don't you guys watch it ???

BS is still BS, no matter how many times they air it

Where is the collaborating proof outside of this TV show?

Are you going to ask the same question if they do somehow find a treasure of some sort. Even if they had other people to verify it you'd say the same thing as it would still be getting to us thru the tv show... It's not up to the Laginas to call around to everyone of YOUR experts to get them to verify the cross. You don't have to believe the info they got but they got it..

n2mini, my friend, their "experts" have very dubious credentials and backgrounds.
Why are you against having a team of real professionals verify these alleged historical finds?
You do realize this is an entertainment TV program, don't you that is based on rating for its funding?

"dubious credentials" LOL Somehow I think researchers at the University of New Brunswick carry a little more weight than you.

If it was mentioned in an episode of hoax island it's always fictional.....

Treasure of some sort? If your "some sort" includes ox shoes and axe heads, yeah, they'll continue to find common objects from human habitation. With the empirical evidence that there was never a money pit, flood tunnels, etc., no, they will never find a templar/bacon/Martian/Shakespeare/space-time warp tunnel to Mars/etc. treasure...

The show's hoax promotion is over....put a fork in it....

Are you serious? Have you been watching the show over the years? Folks who are paid will blend truth and fiction to get their 5 minutes of tv fame.

Ever wonder why the show never continues to follow-up on a "hot lead" or a hole that where someone finds "something" story line?.....

A few years ago Dan Blankenship admitted that there was never anything on hoax island during one episode...
