There were five men, who came through Brown's Park for the first time after pulling off a train robbery over on the Wyoming plains. This group had taken thirty-three thousand in mixed gold coins from the train in that robbery.

The five were heading for California to lose themselves in that Golden era of that time period. If you find it, its plenty of money. Pack, hop on a plane to the Caymun islands, and set up a bank account. Come back to the U.S. if you want, but purchase items through the bank's card. (or transfer small amounts into your U.S. account) Forget the government, finders keepers is what I say. Bunch of crooks and robbers in there anyways, looking to keep ya down.

This is the best advice I have ever heard for what to do with a very large cache. If it's big enough, get it to a bank where they don't ask questions and live on it. Big corps have off shore accounts all the time and get away with it. Why can't the little guy? How fair is that?

Good story and as for telling the aurthorites ,ha ha ha ,anyone would have to be a complete idiot to tell the authorities so they can come in take it and probally charge you with something and make out like the big pigs they already are greed and corruption is all our government is about while they sit on the hill eating like pigs and drinking rum at our exspence in the way of 16 million passing new laws everyday so the average joe cant even live without the fear of braking a law .

Still here Kids and I am not rich!! LOL I have done a lot of research this winter on the loot. There is not a lot of info. Was up in the area and could see there was still snow on the ground!! I have been working the Whites XLT. One problem I am having I don't know the best way to set it up for gold. I have found a bunch of stuff. Nothing really significant. Except one wheat penny and a silver band ring. One of the local reservoirs Is being drained for repairs. So I go out regular and comb the beach. Helps me figure out the MD.
I plan on a lot of time up there this summer. Bill is just barley getting around now. Infact he just went back to work after a year and a half.
Any recommends for the best prospecting books/videos to set up the Whits xlt??
Utah has a ton of Ghost towns that want me.
Interesting story. My attorney met Butch Cassidi as a Kid. Well Butch owed his uncle money. Butch couldn't pay him. So butch told his uncle where some guns were burried. Near the town of Maylen UT. Ghost town now near Ogden UT. One day the two were riding horses and stopped for lunch. And my attorney was looking around and noticed a tree described by Butch years earlier where the guns were burried. So he decided to go look. Well he found a Yellow Boy. I think he said it was a Henry. And his uncle found a pistol. He has the gun today.

Well I am back after being gone for almost 2 years. My job took me out of the state for to long. Any way I hope to get a new start in the spring. And no I haven't found it. I am sorry for not responding to a few of you that has shown interest. But I haven't had computer access on regular biases. One thing I figured when I bought my MD. That is I probably bought the wrong one. I would be interested in any info some mentioned on the cabin/loot. I have done a ton of research and came up empty handed except for 1 clue.
That is Butch Cassidy was released from WY prison just before the train heist if I got my dates right. He was told he had to leave WY. if he was to be released. Well his known historical cabin is located about 8 miles away from where we found the cabin. And also the article I read about the heist talks about a set of tracks while trailing the bandits rode with them for a while then headed east. I am thinking it was Butch. My Buddy bill has never shown intrest in looking for any loot or the fact that one might exists.
