Do the Stone Tablets lead to somewhere OTHER than the Superstition Mtns?

Ohhh

Peralta Stones and the Cross maps are two seperate treasure maps, not one and the same, And all paper maps were made using the stone maps, ohh and Travis found the maps like he said
or he went out in the field and carved every thing there to.

Told ya I know how to read them.

PS the only one

Unlike yourself Mick, I see the stone crosses as supplementary to the stones and essential to a successful resolution.
Which is why a cross of the same size and asymmetrical configuration was chiseled into the back side of the upper trail stone, and also referenced on the priest side of the H/P stone.
The symbolism may also indicate a need to refer to the Holy Bible as well.

Some hiker

To each his own, but I think that's called information over load'
To much info from to many unrelated paths. And who made the Peralta Stones really don't matter. Kindda cool to find out in the end I suppose, But I'm sure the new order of the Jesuits in Kansas
Would be claiming they have all the rights to it. Even though they have none! Ohh I'm sure everyone with the last name Peralta would be in the game too. So I would'nt be attaching names to any of it.

Good luck in the search and may the force be with you!

Good observation Mick, re: "information overload".....the very reason why we have so many differing interpretations for what is on the stones and to which part of the country they apply.

I talked to Bob about that trip to New Mexico at the rendezvous. What he found was very interesting.

Anything you can share...or is it all secret agent treasure hunter stuff? I grew up in N.M. Lots of history an things to be found there.

Geeze Hiker you have earned your coffee this morning also. I just was thinking on the horse map yesterday when I came to the same conclusion, but, with a critical difference.

:coffee2::coffee2::thumbsup: :notworthy:

As we all know, a "critical difference" can also be a "make or break" when it comes to actually getting results in any treasure hunt.
As Bob says, he's been working with the stones for 25 years and obviously believes they are authentic. That he is not using the stones to pimp his business should also be obvious, since the Caballos are nowhere near Goldfield. I'd be willing to bet that Bob and his long time friends and fellow dutch hunters, some of whom have their own copies of the stones, have had many a lively discussion about them. It would probably have been easier to take away Charlton Heston's gun, than to persuade any one of them to part with their replicas.

That's quite aways from the back yard, maybe he should shuffle the deck in the right order. The horse needs a trail to follow'

Trail Map first

There is very real possibility the horse stone is a locator map to several locations. Each with its own set of map stones. Some on tablets and some carved into locations. I believe Bob has proved that. At least from what I heard and know.

My guess is the three circular round carvings on the Horse stone correspond to the position of the trail map stone holes..........3 holes in the map stones in a similar arrangement are also on the horse stones, and when at the arrow, the omega, which way to face to find the number 5 mine from there depends on the position of the holes in the rock you find when there.......

the other possibility is that the horse stone has these three circles, to show the positioning of the three x's on the trail map stones as they appear on the larger map. This is due to the trail bending some along the way between the two stones and to accommodate for that layout difference.....so you can see them on the larger scale on the horse stone in their true position, while walking with the map stones right in front of you

The horse tells you the location of the trail. You have it backwards

Sorry Sarge

I'm gonna have to pull rank on ya! To many minds in the field!
What came first the chicken or the deepfryer.

They still call it a trail ride not a horse trail you can ask Ron Feldmen he would no. Maybe! Bob is his partner.

Where do the stone maps lead? CIBOLA the city of gold under ground.Waltz was very close to it with his gold ledge. This makes me believe even more the stories of Joseph Smith of the Mormons knowing Waltz, and of the golden tablets they are searching for.

You can see he marked the spot right under the Word Coazon. All the Maps lead to different mines in the same area that were all part of the same mining effort. Problem is you have to find the monument for each mine then have a copy of the map for that mine to read. From the marker you line up the noted landmarks and the mine will be revealed.
