🥇 BANNER Rare "US" Indian War "H" buckle - ***More Pictures added 4/4***

Rare "US" Indian War "H" buckle - ***More Pictures added 4/4***
Rare

Today I headed back to the early 1800’s stone chimney property that I’ve been detecting at. I was only there about 5 minutes and got a somewhat iffy signal. After digging through some roots and pulling out a square nail and a Mason jar lid, there was still a signal. I reached my hand into the hole and worked the find around some roots. To my amazement I popped this relic out and saw the “US” on it! I thought it was a buckle of sorts but had no idea how old? I headed to the truck to get my video camera and shot this video. Still shocked, I...

🥇 BANNER William III Shilling!

William III Shilling!
:hello: What's going on guys! Today, Jeff and I decided to head back down to one of my old honey holes that I've been digging at on and off for the last couple of years, the same one that Jeff dug the stellar 1861 Half Dime at a few days ago. As I told him the other day, "there's still more stuff in here to be found" well we found out just how true that was AGAIN today! After a couple hours of digging we wandered into one of the areas that use to be an old colonial homesite on the top of a hill and we began to get the nice iron signals all over. Now up until this time we had only a few...

🥇 BANNER !!!WOW - Roman Site No.3 - WOW!!!

!!!WOW - Roman Site No.3 - WOW!!!
We only now had 3 hours of sunlight left & we moved to a site that Land-Mag had researched & I had spotted on google earth, I remember the day I sent him to the area to field walk pottery & I got an excited call saying his pockets were over flowing. Ever since then, I couldn't wait to try it. I studied aerials again last night & walked quickly into the huge field using large trees as bearing, I stopped short of where I wanted to pick up a pot shard. That was all I needed, on with the machine, & without a lie, second sweap a Roman coin :o

We ended up with 44 Bronze Coins, 2 debased Silver...

Trip to S.C. = 1853 Longacre "Type I" Liberty Head Gold Dollar!

What's up guys  Just got back from a visit to see my mother, and brothers and sister down in South Carolina. While there, I did some research and found an old Confederate camp that was used to hold Yankee prisoners for about six months. The place is near my parents property and is overgrown with brush and woods now. On Friday I went out there to look around very late in the afternoon. After locating what looked like the breastworks and rifle-pits that would've surrounded it I dropped my
coil and within 5 minutes...

1918 Silver 1 Franc World War I Identification Coin/Token!
What's up guys...I've been on vacation for the past 5 days and itching to get back to the dirt to dig. Went to a new site yesterday and attained permission to dig this nice-

looking patch of ground. As I said, by this time I was quite ready to do some digging as I was dang near in withdrawals ;D ;D Around lunchtime I got a really good signal

and out popped this Silver coin. At first, I thought it might be a Reale but when I raised it up and looked at it; it was a 1918 1 Franc. I was thinking "pretty cool" until I

turned it over and saw that it was engraved! Right then and there I knew...

🥇 BANNER Tennessee Artifact Hunt!! Yeee-Haaa 2-28-10

Tennessee Artifact Hunt!! Yeee-Haaa 2-28-10
Boy have I been missing T-Net and artifacts. Watching everyone posting and not having time to go was killing me. We have been flooded all winter but the water dropped and it was 32 degrees when I hitched the boat this morning.Just perfect. There are hundreds of trees down and washing out from the floods. I saw one boat all day and got a picture of his catch. For me it was a great day. I have not even attempted typology on all of these other than being stoked on getting the little Hamilton triangular. I hunted over a 10 mile stretch of friends muddy fields. Please feel free to give opinions...

🥇 BANNER No.5 - Updated

No.5 - Updated
Well after getting a Roman Silver & hammered yesterday, I was bedding in for a tough day. However, on my first run & my first find (dug a few bits of rubbish) was a tiny Gold Celtic coin. My 5th Gold Coin this year (our 6th) :icon_thumright: Took me 20 years to get my first Celtic Gold, now Dad & I have had 5 in the last 2 years :o
We have done this land many times & its full of junk from an old WWI era allotment, we keep clearing the junk every year & it has finally paid of. This coin is no bigger than 10mm.

🥇 BANNER 1782 COLONIAL SPANISH 2 REALES

1782 COLONIAL SPANISH 2 REALES
Hey, Civil, Ty, MM, Kirk, Kyle, Buck, Nana, and all my other friends  Got out today with Willoughby Smitty, a friend of mine. We had decided to go and try a previously untried area to see if we could start off the pre-autumn/autumn season right. The first place we went was literally in a nearly impenetrable wall of jungle that we struggled to walk through...and on top of that the sky decided to let holy hell loose and before you knew it we were soaked with stickers in us....the perfect beginning to any detecting day ;D ;D So after about an hour of scanning with no luck...
