🥇 BANNER Plate Plate Plate!!!! Cincinnati Ohio

Plate Plate Plate!!!! Cincinnati Ohio
So this is one of those finds you see other people dig up on YouTube but never expect to really find one yourself. Well today it happened, I grabbed one of my great white Buffaloes!!! Lol ..The day started by getting rejected at a few places but because of perseverance I ended up at a 1850s mansion in Cincinnati. Right next to that beautiful red brick side of the house I blindly wrapped my hands around this plate at every bit of 8 inches. The dirt is still moist so please advise on how I should clean this since I'm not finding relics like this every day...

🥇 BANNER HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY, reunited!!!!!

HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY, reunited!!!!!
On Jan 31 I posited a great day we had digging when I found half of a CS reef buckle. Since then the weather has been real cold and we have had a good bit of snow. It has keep me up nights thinking about the other half of that buckle. We went back twice to try to find it , but both times the ground was froze solid and we could not dig at that spot. Finally last Sunday I got there for about an hr and a 1/2 and found several bullets but no buckle. I thought then that it was probably not there:sad1: Today it was calling for mid 60s and had rained yesterday. Conditions were rite so we made...

🥇 BANNER SPANISH DUBLOON, COB, and 2 KILLER BUTTONS and MORE!!!

SPANISH DUBLOON, COB, and 2 KILLER BUTTONS and MORE!!!
Howdy T-netters! A great day today at the 1812 fort site! Third day at that site. To date, I had found two British buttons--- one flat, and the other my cherished artillery button with three cannons. Also, tiny musket ball, large half musket ball, and 1787 NJ Copper.
This time around, I hit bank, from within the river bank! I believe the small gold to be a 1/2 escudo, 1783. Extra fine grade I think. A 1731 COB, which I believe is burnt on the side where the cross would be. Makes sense, since the British pilfered the fort and then BURNED IT. So, I guess American money was still at a...

🥇 BANNER Silver hoards from Romania!

Silver hoards from Romania!
Hello my name is Julian and i`m from Romania. Exactly two years ago I bought my first metal detector and I embraced this beautiful and noble hobby. I'm talking about a Garrett Euroace 350 which is a Garrett350 adapted to European soil. With joy I can say that in the two years this detector discovered two very important silver hoards wich i like to share with you.
First in september 1 2013, the largest silver treasure ever discovered in Romania: 47,296 silver coins most from the reign of Sultan Murad II 1421-1451, weighing more than 120 pounds. The coins were in very good condition due to...

🥇 BANNER Incredible early 1600s sword basket hilt recovered + 1580s jetton and more!!

Incredible early 1600s sword basket hilt recovered + 1580s jetton and more!!
This weekend I was finally able to escape the seemingly perpetual cabin fever mode I'd been in lately after only getting out for one short hunt over the last 5 weeks. I started things off by hooking up with my good friend Joey to make the long trek back to the county that produced the Lord Baltimore sixpence. Joey had recently discovered that the owner of the Lord Baltimore tract was also in control of another nearby land patent site, and we tried to contact him for the go-ahead. But we went by his house 3 different times during the day but could never catch him home. So we were forced...

Day 2 new permission. 5 silvers,1808 half cent, 2 large cents and a NJ copper!
Day 2 new permission. 5 silver's,1808 half cent, 2 large cents and a NJ copper!

Started back at the new permission this morning with a nice solid 3 inches of frozen ground. Started out with a new jersey copper, my first in almost 3 years. It's thick, but pretty warn. Next came the beautiful 1818 large cent. After that followed with my first ever capped bust large cent, 1810. Fourth copper was another first, an 1808 draped bust half cent!!!

After that little copper frenzy was over, I went back to the spot in the field where I found the silver's yesterday. I got real deep, scratchy...

🥇 BANNER Snakes - one was patriotic

Snakes - one was patriotic
Was on a group hunt this past weekend down south. Day one, early into the hunt I found this patriotic button with a snake on the rim. I'm told that it's from the revolutionary war. Here it is cleaned up a little with a toothpick. I'm starting to see some shine peaking through. Would appreciate any advice on next step in cleaning/preserving. The real snake was found on day 2. Think it is a yellow rat snake.
