Whats the average age of T-Netters If U dont mind

I'm 27 and getting younger every day. I think thats how young I am, sometimes my memory eludes me so its hard to say.
Definitely old enough to buy beer, Cheers!!

As for our friend Tropical Tramp, I seem to remember a post quite a while back where he mentioned being at Guadalcanal or similar WWII event. As mentioned in an earlier post, he's the most interesting member of Tnet.....

57 here. Went on my first metal detecting trip when I was 9 at a Civil War battle field and found a ton of bullets and such. Been a fool about it ever since...d2

I'm 59. Here is a picture of me roughly 30 years ago showing off some of my finds for an article in Found magazine. And a more recent picture.

39, I've been detecting off and on for about 21 years. Act 15 to 23, I only act my age when I have to(at work)!! and body feels like 70 at times! :laughing7: I know enough about computers to do what I need to. Not really my interest. This site, a kawi site and another prospecting site from one of the sponsors are the only social media type stuff I'm into. I've spent more time on the computer in the past year or so than I ever have. :laughing7:

Yea Nitric , I feel about 70 right now -Detected 10 hrs Sunday, Celebrated mine & my Wife's 12 wedding Ann, Monday Night, Hit a couple Yards & a Park for 5 hrs Tue, Pm..Then tho I really did not Feel it 'I had to take advantage of the Cooler less Humid Weather Yesterday & hunted a Woods site from 10a to bout 2.30.
The nite before last my throat was feeling Scratchy & had a slight Cough, now overnight it got a little worse but my body feels like I ran onto the field with the Falcons & played for a Quarter or 2.:laughing7:

Not much on Social Media either ,have a FB but my wife uses/used it for Games tho I may make an appearance once or twice a Month...Still use a flip Phone but could really use a Smart phone For looking at the Live Radar , Using Zillow for a Home sites Birth & certain times Shopping.

I'm a member of another detecting site, but really don't use it (Cause I don't like the Format),
Also liked Glock TalK 's Site but since they changed it's format a couple months ago "It now Ill's me":BangHead:
So now that you have most of my life story (took 10+ min to type).lol
I bid you GL & Farewell .
Davers:thumbsup:

15 wow I think I am the youngest member

Close ill bet , I think Wheatfinder 13 is 15 0r 16 now??? (Time goes by faster every year).

Only 53 & Started this hobby in 1985..where's time go??

Man you tell me ....
If I had Started Hunting with the Passion I have now in 1985 , I like to think that I would have a Major Valuable Collection of Civil War Relics , Gold & Silver..
Then again I likely would have Sold it all in a harder time in my Life.
Rant time.

It's like the Pink Floyd Song "Time"..."shorter of breath and One day Closer to Death"

Told My Wife & Son I want that song played at my Funeral or Memorial BUT I has to be Turned Up Louder
when 'Gig in the Sky' Kicks in & play a large Screen with Photos of the Good Times.
Then turn it down & "loop" it while everyone Mingles. Hmmm, a Strange scene to picture in ones mind.:icon_scratch:

That has to be a great Memory.

I lived in a Skirmish area from 3rd to 7th Grade, while playing in the woods I recall seeing a guy "Digging out Civil War Fox Holes".
Also one friend of mine Showed me a Round Ball he Found (Eyeballed) & I though that was the Coolest thing Ever.

Actually I did get a $25 Radio Shack Detector but lets say my Stepdad was less then helpful or interested in my new Hobby;
Besides ..It would barely pick up a Quarter at 2 inches (on top of the Ground).

I read something years ago.....

Didn't George Carlin say, "'Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting "HOLY S***....WHAT A RIDE!"', or something like that?:dontknow::laughing7:
