Whats the average age of T-Netters If U dont mind

Well I am 74. Probably the oldest woman on here. I feel pretty good if I go out a few times a week, but am stiff as a board if I don't go for a while. And the AT Pro feels like it weighs 50 lbs after about an hour. Got to go more often!

OldJerseyGirl,

You're just a spring chicken.....remember it's all mind over matter.....just keep swinging away.

p.s. I'm 65 and been doing this crazy hobby since 1993 and probably will keep doing it till the day I drop.

To this point, I've counted 62 actual ages logged, (not the hysterical references), and we arrive at 3266.
Divide same by 62 and the numerical age of TNetters is a respectful 52.67. Let's just call it 53...
Keep on keeping on TNetters!
Peace ✌

Dave,

Quite a few years back one of the CMD members who had a serious heart condition was detecting in Colchester over in the UK.....most of the detectorists
packed it in for the day late afternoon and he decided to tough it out for a while longer.

When he didn't show up for supper they went out to look for him and he had keeled over from a heart attach and didn't manage to get to his nitro pills in time....they made a nice plaque and had it mounted in the field where he died.

Best to go with your boots on doing something you enjoy.

41 good year my dad was born in 41, lot of strong people were born that year.

Just turned 50! I've been hunting on and off since 1977. Had to take time off while in the military and when the kids were young. I started off with a Garrett Ground Hog and a Compass which are relics now too so to speak and now hang out in my relic / artifact room as a reminder of the days back then.

69 next Tuesday ..........................

I read something years ago.....

Didn't George Carlin say, "'Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting "HOLY S***....WHAT A RIDE!"', or something like that?:dontknow::laughing7:

George Carlin sharing his wisdom on age and aging!

Yes Sir , I do believe Mr, Carlin said that 'True' Statement if I recall Right.

Also like his Quotes on "Stuff".. I got & Dig a-lot of "Stuff".

You know , when I asked this Question , I would have Guessed the Avg, age would be over 60.
I'm kinda Surprised there are so many people around my age & younger.

Thanks for doing the Math. I was wondering the Avg, from the Reply's submitted.
