Back to the topic, Love...
I'm workin' on a scalloped potato casserole thing with cream of chicken soup.
And, I have submitted (committed?) myself to preparing the (in)Famous Kaiser household family recipe meatloaf.
All who partake will live... :laughing7:
Ain't bad...here's a plate...enjoy!

Best,
Scott

By golly, it's pretty good. Justa liberal sprinklin' of salt and a generous dose of Tabasco Sauce and it ain't too bad...
{where's my stomach pills? This is gonna hurt...}

Best,
Scott

Same old deal.
Friday night was fried haddock, cole slaw, macaroni and cheese.
Sat night was Delmonico steak, baked potato and green beans.
Tonight will be shake and bake chicken, mashed potatoes, corn, gravy and biscuits.

Re: What's For Dinner?

White Chili...... use 1 1/2 lbs of chicen or turkey or sausage or combo of them brown drain an throw in pan / crock pot add 2 cans of chicken broth / 2 cans of white beans / 1 can of corn (drained) / 1 can of green chilis / 1 can of rotel / 1 pkg of creaqm cheese / and 8 oz of sour cream ..... cook 1 hour .... I cooked longer !

Re: What's For Dinner?

It is easy but, I think next time I will also add a can of plain diced tomatos an a little more corn. Possibly a little more Philly :icon_scratch: It was a touch thin.

Re: What's For Dinner?

Mmmmm...deer jerky. That's good stuff, y'all!
I like the noodle thing....starch and all. Rice is good, also. I like to make casseroles in the winter. Sometimes something with chicken and a cream of type soup. Then throw a big pot of chili and cornbread in for the next few days meals and then, well, gotta get creative 'bout the time "cabin fever" sets in.
Thank goodness for spices and seasonings! The right combination in the right amounts can make "stone soup" worthy of "seconds!"

Best Wishes, Y'all,
Scott

Re: What's For Dinner?

Sloppy Joe's (deer burger) and salads with Italian dressing, and Parmesan cheese(ground black pepper on mine).

I think I may make some beer bread garlic toast to go with it.

Back to the kitchen for me.

Enjoy your meals folks!

Re: What's For Dinner?

Collard greens sweetened by a heavy frost and seasoned with fat back, Martha White corn bread in Iron skillet and a shot of apple cider vineagar.
