Re: What's For Dinner?

Hello all,
Haven't been on for awhile but thought I would check gold prices, then what you folks were chowing on.
I had a nice baked potato with gravy. (Ran out of bread for toast and SOS).
But good news!
Started a job that looks good and so far they have let me come back every day!
Had one a month ago and the only people there were Soviet refugees and I don't speak russian.
Had to quit because I couldn't stand at attention for 4 hrs. straight.
New job is much better as I get 10 min break every 2 hrs. and I work with Americans who speak my language. You cannot believe what a difference that makes.
Only thing is they pay me too much. I am waiting for the bubble to burst and every day they let me in to work I am happy. Soon I will get paid and be able to eat fancier gravy on my toast.
Blessings to all.
Grey

Grey, Friend,
If you want to eat more healthy, be sure to avoid "High Fructose Corn Syrup." This additive to cheaply replace sugar has been proven to be unhealthy. However, in the United States, it is used in nearly everything. Even the packet of catsup from McDonalds has HFCS! Start reading the ingredients label and you will see how prevelent this stuff is. I don't think that it can be totally avoided, but try to keep consumption of this substance to a minimum!

Best Wishes,
Scott

I generally run out of clothesline space. Then I got to droop em over stumps and such. Get's real aggravatin' durrin' winter times.
Say, what kind of machine you washin' with? Me? I got a 'beaut on the front porch! Got it about 4 years ago and got it hooked up to the air conditioner motor. :tongue3:

My Best,
Scott

EDIT:

Re: What's For Dinner?

I have a question that you may be able to answer...

"How many meals must a man eat alone?"

Anyone with an answer?

Scott

PS.
Pay no attention to the previous meatloaf comments....

Made a crockpot of chili-mac and the nieghbors brought me over a fresh baked CHERRY PIE. I see no comments on the oxtail soup. LOL it sure is good. My step son said yuck til he treid it now he wants me to go to the meat market . Tomorrow I,m frying up some pork chops and layering them in escalloped potatoes , some brussel spouts, and homemade bread . the rest of the week is LEFTOVERS . hey to everybody.

Re: What's For Dinner?

OK,
One more comment on laundry...
Iffen your gonna hang laundry, you got to be a weather procrastinator.

Example: Jackson Pig farm is Five miles north of where you live, and the wind is blowin' 10-15 miles per hour to the south. Is this the day to hang laundry?

Do the math.

Best,
Scott
