treasure location

I just spent 20 minutes writing a long post then lost it when I tried to post. So I will try just a few highlights this time. Jim H, Yes you are right I was wrong to mention the chopper needed. But There is a second site (another possable mine ) that is quite impossable to get. It is high up. The focus here should be on the easy to gwet to mine. I have to my satafaction decoded the trail map. That being a true map still leaves questions of who made it? It might be best to just say that I know what the map says. Wether it leads to the mine or not is another story. But it does lead us some where. Most of the carvings on the stone maps make sense to me when you put it all together. Of all my looking into the LDM treasure so far only one guy came close, but not close enough to be a bother. I do not think the treasure is Templar, or the 7 cities of gold. But it could be the LUE. I will look into that next.

No need to apologize for trolling in this forum Casca. More often than not. It seems to be the "Norm" in most LDM forums. People who have nothing of "Substance" to offer the discussions, have no conscience about filling the pages with post after post of their "nothings", or critique of things they really do not know anything about.

Best,

Jim

Casca,

Just for using spellcheck, here's one for ya. ;D

I'm using spell check for dirty dutchman.

Travis (dirty dutchman) can seem a little harsh when reading his typed words, but if you could see the grin on his face when he typed them, I believe you would take them in a different spirit. If he reads this and sees how seriously you took it, I suspect he would apologize and explain.

if anyone has good info, or something that needs checked out, put it out there.

It is not very likely that anyone who is actively searching for the mine, is going to post daily reports about their searches and their search area in a public forum. Think about that for a minute and I think you will understand why.

Till then, those do get out of the chair and looks, post some photos.

Although there are some... There are not a lot of posters in the "T-Net LDM forum" that spend a lot of time out on the trail in search of anything. If you want to read about actual adventures in the mountains with photos. I would suggest you check out:

True Stories - Chasing the Legend
At: http://www.desertusa.com/mb3/viewforum.php?f=15

Now don't go over there and start your "Troll" routine ;D or I will never own up to recommending the site to you. :dontknow: Bullies, Trolls, "People with private agendas", and "I FOUND IT'S" don't seem to last very long over there.

Best,

Jim

Harsh?? Dang Jim, I put a "smiley" on it! ;D

I apologize if my fingers type "harshly", they were put to use for too many years against Heavy Bags and Barfights. Maybe thats why they come across "brash"?

Travis

i think pictures mean diffrent things to diffrent people . i used some 1600 fs on some of my photos all film pics
but my eyes are so bad now i dont know if i can find them .. are these clear to you ...

the light effects how the picture reacts to the shuder speed dont you think .. a few ft one way or the other makes the whole picture change .. and how the time of day effects the subject just changes how the picture makes you feel and what can be seen and what can not be seen :coffee2:

i dont really want to waste anyones time on a lot of blury pics ... i hope you seen something even if they were taken by a old fool ..with bad eye sight ...

Awesome photo Dirty!! Mind if I "steal" it for a future background?

BB plueeeze - for someone with your abilities, could you not reduce your photos to, say, 800x600 before posting'em?
Some of us have a cap on downloads and several photos with 3300x2500 is just too much!

By the way, guys, you dont need to search for the LDM anymore ...
_I_ have found it without using google-earth - it is in one of BB's pictures - where all the car are parked!! (Why would they otherwise all be there??) he, he, he.

are you kidding dude .. every one here is telling me how bad my pics are now you want me to make them to small for me to see ... lol i do use a 42 inch screen dude ..lol

Anyone ever read a story about a EX Green Beret working the LDM (one mine in the area ) where he says that alien lizards were throwing rocks at him, but he held them off with machine guns? An interesting story. Read it about 10 years ago, might have been right here!

Hell O Paparazzi's,

I really appreciate all the pictures posted of places I may never visit. Even if some are a bit blurry, they are good enough for me. It sure would be nice to know what we're looking at though. Sure hope that wasn't Brokeback Mountain posted just as "image".

Hey Oro,

My two pics are Weavers Needle and Geronimo Head. I HATE to compare myself to BB, but i dont know how to make the pictures smaller either! ???

I actually hate computers and if it werent for my job and my Lost Dutchman research, I probably wouldnt have one! I just realized yesterday that i can "click" the little words below the picture and not have to hit the side bars to see them. :o

Glad you liked the pictures.
Travis

coazon de oro,

Not many people get the chance to hold the heart in their hands.

We were, of course, very careful.

I will post some clear pictures of the interior of the Supe's.

de oro,

This is the ridge between East and West Boulder Canyon. The Main Mountain is seen in the background:
