Too Hot to Dig...

Why has no one commented on the "bull dog face" very first picture posted?

That was brought out in post #4, but not discussed too much (or at all). There are a lot of things going on at that one site.

What about the Pac Man in posts 126 & 133. It almost looks like someone cut a heart out of it to me...But then again I just may be wrong. Does anyone else see a possible heart being cut from the rock?

Ed T

Ed T,

The "pac man" is a heart on it's side. It is an individual rock that was placed on a larger rock.
You might want to go back and read all the posts beginning on page one while they are still posted.
Sometimes they get deleted and then what is left may be a little confusing.

Thom,

Thanks for the offer. Your advice is always straight and to the point.

If you are indeed looking at an authentic marker, I would have to say that, The DON'S mine, sits in a cove or above a shoulder shaped curve or on a shoulder shelf of some sort. His parrot looks down from an axed off or single marker that is positioned from above the hidden portal. Is he pointing somewhere? Hmm..... Concealed in the rocks. :coffee2:

Twisted Fork,

Thanks for your input. That is a variation that we had not thought of and will diffently have to check it out. I was aware of the symbol in the background you outlined in green. There is more there than I have shared at this point. Looks like I owe your a cup!

We are all with you on this; hoping for the best. Don't get discouraged, it's easier than it looks and don't leave out the possibility that everything may be backwards like a mirrored reflection. Fun Stuff.......

white rock pyrimid triangle

If that stone is what I think it is, it is a cache trowel facing back at a cache site which is not very far from the mine. At least from my own experience, a standing trowel faces the cache; and a laying trowel is aside from the cache.

Square off your compass as you face the stone and go right to the side first (one of the for directions S. W. N. E.) centered as such, and look for two marker forms of which the cache will be buried in between. Whether standing or laying, the cache will be between two markers. Doublebox and beware of poison.

Twisted Fork,

Bingo....this site pretty much fits your deduction....I will post a pic of "hole" being cleaned out WEST of the white rock pyrimid triangle.

Be sure to save each and every stone excavated and avoid scratching them if possible. Sometimes a single map stone is buried. Stone may be made from a piece of ore that came from the head of the lode upon discovery. May be under a flat stone on the way down. Watch for a heart stone also. Hope there are more goodies guys; cool.......

Some caches are buried right in the same vein, a short ways from the hidden point that the portal punches through.

Brent,

It is carved out....I think it does have a head and a neck or shaft...think more "manly"?

Twisted Fork,
We use a large, woven strap as used on construction sites and try not to damage anything in any way if at all possible. Several symbolic rocks are shown in the pic and we pulled several more out also...some large, some small.........

:laughing7: Yea, I was thinking the same thing at first look. Maybe it's their message telling followers that they're screwed because they took it with them. :laughing7:

Also, there are a BUNCH of pointer stones in this photo; all pointing to the waterhole. There's a stone with 4 dots on it with what looks like a reversed "7" to the slight left, middle area.

Good luck

If your comfortable with these stone as having been altered by man in some way, it obviously would be a shape map cache. It really is all about shapes they have given you to work with. Are there any topped trees around the area? If two markers natural or otherwise, stand on both sides of this dig, they will be the two that one lines up to pinpoint the hidden entry.

To verify that you have indeed a triangle working for you there, try and locate the apex which should be a special tree with one or two stones at it's base (may be out of sight). The other two corners around the dig will be corners 2 and 3. Three is the furthest of the two away from the apex. Stand at 3, aim at 2, veer out slightly from the triangle and walk up onto the mine in the general direction.

Shortstack,

You have used amazing restraint in not marking up the pic. Thanks to who ever downsized it some more for us....hmmm no one yet sees a fish head coming up or a calf/lambs head?
