Morning Bill... Rusty.

Good morning Bill RR ARC ROOK and PEPPER

Another day of having not to water anything. This much needed moisture is a welcomed event for many, the hay fields are going to sucking up the moisture well.
It's a hard time digging a hole when it takes 3/4 stomps on the spade to get a few inches down in the sod.
Then it's a solid mass almost, retrieval of any target is an effort.

Yesterday I made a cold call to a guy that we met one time running a harvester around a permission while detecting. I came across his # in the phone, so we had a great chat up about the land and some metal fence posts the farmer said I could have a few yrs back.

Well the land has been sold, the farmer screwed the guy out of 140K in labour/materials, so it was a good listen to his rant.

Good/bad news was the land was sold to my other permission now they have 2500-3000acres of land.:headbang:
The winter wheat has been combined-in stubble-ready to be manured/disked.
The guy said I might want to get on the field before they spread the manure. I said I had no problem with that sh*t. He burst out :laughing7:

The bad news was the site where the fencing was bulldozed level and piled at the end of the site. Oh well I snoozed and I loosed.:dontknow:

Great news the permission just bought out another homestead, and they are working the site now, so it's another location to detect.

Now the plan is to purchase some TIME to do a road trip meet up with Dave for a day of many a site hunting......

Morning Jim.

You're definitely one of the most generous people I know with sharing their sites Jim.

As you know, I only detect alone here in my part of the province... but I'm trying to change. :laughing7:
