Bill how has the bug/insects been in your garden this year?
It seems that everyone i talk to in my circle has had one thing or other attacking the garden.
Yesterday our friend she had tomato worms attack the garden over night.
Took the tops right of the plants. I think the word describing them was "Gross"

Ya I know (heavy blush)

Then again you are so secretive (:() about those wood chip play lots you have been detecting out. :laughing7:

Nicccce buddy... I detect one park site 10 years ago and now I'll never live it down. :laughing7:

Morning rook & Bart.

Did he say live *down*!?!? One of my greatest work/return percentages came from just such a place! Also, one of my best seated dimes! Don't poo-poo the simple wood chips!

I love hunting an old site! But....a surprise old coin or even a brand, spankin' new 3carat diamond ring will suffice in between times. :tongue3:

I completely agree WD... of course Jim is just poking me with a blunt stick to get a reaction. :laughing7:
The park I was detecting was the original settlement location for my town beside Lake Ontario back in th
e late-18thc, it's located behind this house adjacent to the beach.

"Since Lake Ontario was the only means of transportation in the 1700s, early settlement in Oshawa took place mainly along the shoreline. It wasn't until after 1793 when Governor Simcoe planned a road between Kingston and Toronto that settlement started to move further inland. More people moved to Oshawa in the early to mid-1800s. As the population slowly increased, more services and buildings were built, including mills, hotels, stores, churches and a post office. In 1849 Oshawa was incorporated as a village. The name "Oshawa" was chosen to represent the original settlement and translates from native dialect to mean "that point at the crossing of the stream where the canoe was exchanged for the trail."

Kentucky weather? Blazing hot with 85% or more humidity one day, now it's in the 70s, rainy and windy. Kentucky weather isn't weather, it's a woman. Can never make up its mind.

So it has already begun. Mod on one forum and act up on the other. I see how you are. [emoji2955]

We're figuring out a funeral service for my sister this week.
Ten people maximum in a funeral home. Or at any "public" indoor gathering.
The heck with that.
So...Out doors in a Church parking lot so far. Yes , masks and spreading out.
A field near the funeral home was offered , but vehicle traffic/noise was deemed to close.
We'll have a smaller ceremony at the cemetary the following day. Though that will have quite a group too.

My deepest condolences, releventchair.

Do you know this guy?

Did you put him up to that post?!?!?!

Do I really have a fan? Or was that a joke?

Is your name really Dave?

Coincidence?

So many questions!

Just be glad I don't vent on here. I'm sure I have a lot of venting to do.

Morning rook & Bart.

There it is, proof in the pudding as they say.
Nice one you, you, X-TOTTER-LOTTER:notworthy:

Dave I went out detecting this morning on a new 35acre permission. (The corner lot down the road where you got the 2cent piece.)
Did the fields in 1hr flat. Now I know I can keep up to your speed detecting. Horse shoe, broken rein guide and hay equipment parts.
The farmer that told me about the stone Mason foundation, must be in the poplar trees.

Note to readers: No blunt sticks were used in the construction of this posting.:tongue3:

Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen.

Tiger Soligen parade bayonet. It's of WWII German manufacture. I'm not 100% sure, but if I remember correctly these served as nothing more than something to hold out on inspections or parades. I'll have to look. Someone altered this "bayonet to use though, as there is an edge on it. I do not get why they call this one a "bayonet". There's no attaching place to attach to a rifle.
