It is the Fourth of July — Independence Day — the birthday of the United States of America. July 4, 1776, was the culmination of a hard-fought battle for Americans' right to self-governance and democratic rule. J

Actually... The 4th commemorates the signing Of Jefferson's Declaration of Independence of the United States.

Continental Congress adopted his declaration and declared that thirteen American Colonies were free of subordinate of the monarch...
Congress voted two days earlier...but it was not signed until the 4.

So kinda yes... "birthday" of a new way :)

Having rum balls for breakfast. That’ll start your day.:laughing7:

Dave,

You planning on taking up a 2nd career as a mini maid worker?....:laughing7::laughing7::laughing7:

Hi Jim,
Nope today is grocery shopping, laundry and for some real fun, I thought I might vacuum the house and clean the bathroom. :laughing9:

I was thinking about possibly heading down to that 'site along the water' early tomorrow morning?
As you know, there are only a few sites available to me in my area, so to make an early morning 1.5hr to a site that's produced well for me doesn't sound like a bad idea. :icon_scratch:

How about you are you heading out detecting today?

Good morning Bill! :hello:

Getting down-getting kind of dirty-if you know what I mean.

Morning bart-about time you climbed up the mast to see what the world is offering.

In 1990, I made the mistake of answering an ad in the local newspaper by a young lady who was looking for a live-in man-servant/slave. :icon_scratch:

She proceeded to give me her personal guarantee that the 'benefits' that came with the position would 'blow-my-mind'.. man was I ever wrong! :BangHead:

Bill, my problem is that I have trouble sitting still for longer then 30mins at a time and Jim... well I just can't sleep unless my sock-drawer is organized.

I'm always reminding my wife and daughter, it you leave an article of clothing laying around the house, it will either get wash, folded or put away! :laughing7:

Question for you Rusty.
In your "Very Impressive Display" I might add.
What did you use to highlight the embossing?

The flasks were a special find, as they were broken most times.
After been wrapped up in a packing box for the past decade-they needed a "Jimmy hug again"

I forgot to comment on my favorite piece.....the rolling pin fishing float....I've only ever found one, and it is lost in an attic full of bottles !! Very nice pepperj !!
