It was just a young Rat Snake, I took it between the wheels then stopped. When they're sunning on the roads they don't appreciate it to be moved along.

I always stop and move turtles and snakes off the highways and roads, as there's a certain sector of life that will just run them over.

We had a turtle popper do it right in front of our place, drove by, backed up and did the laying turtle in. Lucky I wasn't home at the time as I would be writing this from behind bars.
Wife told me the details and I asked the description of the car-to this day I visualize that little white rice burner car getting run over by a semi-truck.

I heard its all tied into the mate at whale harbor who found all that coke offshore then gunned down one of his guys plus the girlfrind for getting greedy....no coke was ever recovered and it was alot

Well....that would explain the chopper.....your talking about the twins....chris and Adrienne. Before the murders I built those guys a 39 ft key west hull charter boat !! It was called the "reel G's". I had originally built and powered this boat in 96. When the twins came into there money they bought this boat through some shady deal with the former owner. I had fished with each twin here in key largo. Things got real dark and scary with these guys by the end of the boat build....both of them carried pistols pretty openly and at this point it was obvious they were running a large op. These guys were the scarfaces of the 2000s. They paid me cash and I retrofitted and painted a nice boat for them !! We predicted there downfall would come soon and the boatyard urged me to finish as fast as possible so they could get these thugs out quickly !! They were loose canons and everyone was in terror of these guys for awhile. No one wanted to confront them. Not long after the murders happened and they were gone....first Adrienne for the murders and then chris for drug charges and assault. Not long before carona virus I was at a little league game with my wife and BANG there he is......chris fresh out of prison !! I must have went white....he gave me the big mafia hug in front of every family in keylargo....I quickly made an excuse and shuffled to the car and left....I was shocked to see one of the reel Gs already out of jail !! It wouldn't surprise me if it was chris and it would explain choppers watching us....everyone new I built there boat for them !! It was right out in the open in front of the whole community. You get the whole guilt by association thing when you build the boats for the pirates !! Last I checked though it was legal to build boats !!

I can relate the "Guilt by association" is also close to "History comes back to haunt you". Most times both are not welcomed in "another life". It's kind of funny how our lives cross paths with others and with each pass it becomes more entangled.
It's when one looks back and kind of says to themselves "I didn't see that one coming"
It must of been a tad uncomfortable for you bart.

All I ever did was build great boats for anyone that wanted them.....I care not what you choose to do with that boat once its fully paid for !! I also built some great boats for law enforcement too !! I'm a craftsman and enjoy building fine boats !!

Last I looked, we took third in the length derby. Mr WD invited some friends to sign up and fish the derby. The buttheads bumped us to third when all their information uploaded. And the guy that one is a young whipper snapper. He called afterwards and I answered the phone and told him I was going to slap him. He laughed. Little show off.

I do have a fish to weigh for the weight derby.

Relevant chair, are you watching? I just might be top spot for men and women. Definitely women. Close on the overall.


I have been thinking about it and I don’t think it’s right to have a woman’s division and be in the overall competition. Just make it one. I’m good with the kids division though.

I dont talk much about my boat building but heres one that were just starting. This is the early planning of a new build....half model is coming together for a customer. stations and waterline are marked to scale so far and contouring is taking place. Shear lines will get drawn and cut next !! It's a long process for a wooden boat....maybe 4 years from the time the keel is laid. I dont do alot of work but I'll oversee most of the build and trouble shoot build problems as it progresses....it will be 100% my design though !!
