It's an liquid extract kit + the hops pellets were supplied with the kit. The style is probably more like a corona beer so on the light side for summer. I pretty much stick with whatever's provided with the kit and don't bother with added ingredients.

Is this an extract kit and a Modelo or Dos Equis style?
Do add additional malted barley grains and if you do, what Lovibond?
What hops are used during boiling and finish?

When I was homebrewing I used bulk malt extract, hop pellets, crystal malt and similar grains, and yeasts that cultured from Belgian and British beers that contained it.
I primarily brewed high gravity ales in abbey and old style heavy ales.

ECS,

I pat you on the back I guess I don't have the patience to dicker with the recipes to make something a bit more elaborate or unique.

I find that the extract kits have way more flavour and are better tasting than most commercial beers and compare favourably with most artisan brands.

Small, neophyte type question to anyone about gardens.

Does a garden in the backyard cause much of an increase in visiting, animal, vermin?

Would seem they would start lining up. I realize true gardeners would know how to deal with them. But....might it increase? Even.....skunks?

Thanks!

Are you familiar with this supplier of brewing products:

My girls garden seems to attract squirrels whenever it begins to produce.

Last time she had the bad arse cherry tomatoes... it was like... "now ya see it... now ya don't".

Overnight... poof they were gone.

Of course we blame the squirrels... due to them not getting the daily bread slice that day. (heh)

Anyway... the horizon awaits.

Night folks.

I live between Parks Canada and a 250 acre land trust.
Now when I was first putting in a garden a neighbour asked what I was doing, I explained.
Hope you noticed your right in the main deer run.:dontknow:How was I to know.
So fences make good neighbours. A short fence 2 ft will stop the ground hog. 8ft is needed for a deer. I stopped growing corn as it only got demolished by the racoons anyways.
Rats can be a problem, same as tree rats (squirrels, chipmunks) so when they get out of hand the live traps start up and I buy them a bus ticket to the township line.
Best policy is to plant a little extra for all, then they'll be content.
Most of everything lives in harmony.

I was just wondering if it was worth it all to me. Don't know if I want to invite more grief by making my yard more attractive to vermin.

Does mint help to keep any of them away? I recall something on tv. :dontknow:

Does a free buffet attract visitors?

Skunks might sample melons. But will also sample/eat ... [insects, larvae, earthworms, grubs, rodents, lizards, salamanders, frogs, snakes, birds, moles, and eggs. They also commonly eat berries, roots, leaves, grasses, fungi and nuts]
