Chris,

Free protein.....:laughing7::laughing7::laughing7: my wife refuses to buy cod for that reason. They pretty much take care of that issue when preparing and packaging try to convince her no way.

When I was a kid we used to buy salt cod. It would be soaked overnight to get most of the salt out. Then either make fish cakes with mashed potatoes or fish chowder.

Great stuff maybe I should buy some salt cod and make a batch of fish cakes just for myself....:laughing7::laughing7::laughing7:

There was an incident at a local food store, right out side their door yesterday at 3 in the afternoon, in front of everyone. It all went down it seconds! A car whips up 4 people hop out yelling and shove a woman pushing a shopping cart of groceries to the ground. They throw the food & themselves into the car and take off, fish tailing out of the parking lot.
This is not to add to any ones anxiety but to let you know to be aware of your surroundings & people. Look around before getting out of your car or a store.

The woman was ok a few scrapes, I hope the store replaces her stolen items.
The store has a police officer in the store. I think they now need one out side too.

Idahodutch,

Yeah good attitude kind of like seeing life through the eyes of a kid and not an oldtimer.

Msbeepbeep,
Adventure, excitement for life. New experiences.
For now, I'll have to settle for changing my outlook first.
So . . . This is the first day of my new adventure, I better remember to do certain things, like take time to experience my surroundings. Breath deep. Feel the air. Feel the warmth of the sun.

I am going to take the dogs for a walk, that's always an adventure for them, and we share their enjoyment.
I just want to ready myself for adventure. That way everything can be an adventure.

I am ready to live as much as I can.
Msbeepbeep, I didn't know if that answered your question properly, but to sum it up, the fun kind of adventure.

Beeps,
Sad turn of events, however, I can see more and more incidents of this nature happening courtesy of the lowlifes out there.

This isn't the type of adventure I had in mind. I'm glad the woman wasn't badly hurt, but still, hell of a way to say good afternoon . . . Sheesh

Get your butt shot in Florida that way.

Thanks Bill,
I really believe that our maker gets much pleasure when we are respecting and enjoying his creation.
Just like it brings us pleasure when our kids find fun adventure.

Yep Idaho & Chris, best things in life are free & simple! I watch the wild life, not the humans, the others that have fur and feathers. I greatly enjoy their comings and goings.

Yep TH, my daughter and her husband are both licensed to carry concealed...and they do.

Idaho your adventures will be just fine, enjoy them.

I have a theory about this incident.
One, I think they have done this before because of speed and precision.
Two, the car is probably stolen so plate pics won't identify them.
Three, they maybe on the run & not from around here, that would explain the food grab.

It's just a feeling I have about it.

Msbeepbeep,
Sounds like you have found an investigative adventure. And you have already put together a profile.
You're moving right along. It's important to remember to enjoy it.
Heck, I'm intrigued, and not even the one investigating.

The women in Lachine are banding together to fight the coronavirus. They are removing their pushup bras to help flatten the curve.

I've been cleaning up some CW shell frags today, the reveal (oh and that stupid trigger) will be later.

Well hell. I’ve been flattening the curve for almost a month.

Afternoon Msbeepbeep
