time to call a game warden
Good morning all. Got up late again. Did I miss anything good? Lol.
Been doing a bit of research this morning....came across this cheat sheet I use to reference my treasure spots. I can keep a good track of finds with the mile marker system. Even using my car to track distance between the markers. Tracking oral traditions about finds I've been able to zero in on several survivor camps from the treasure wrecks that were not well known. Conversation always goes like this with me..."so what mile marker does this story take place at"....that's my most important clues. So from the mile marker info I can compare it to my own memory and records of finds found and the mile marker numbers. I have discovered clusters of finds at certain mile markers....these are the sites where survivors of the treasure fleet wrecks came ashore. Every aspect of island life in the keys is organized by the mile marker system...and this little sheet helps me reference the mile markers by landmark. I've just been told a treasure tale from a mile marker that I've never searched....wooo hooo
