Couple years ago I saw a 'fisher' while walking the dog at night. I'm in SW Washington (Kalama) and they are 'rare' from my research. Talked to neighbor and he used to see them drifting the Kalama River when he was a kid. He told me they have the finest fur which may have something to do with that.

Yes, and I would looooove to have one as a pet!! When i was a kid my neighbors had a rescue cougar and other friends had bear cubs..mom was killed from a falling tree.....not sure about the cougar.

I would love to have a Bobcat as a pet. I like cats and they seem pretty cool. The ones here in Florida are a little smaller than their northern cousins so I think they would make a great pet.

I looked it up just now and they say weasel family. We dont have any creatures here like that. Just escaped ferrets here n there which have never become a feral problem. Iv rarely seen one.
Nah, our wombats are slow moving herbivores. None in the district we live in.

Heating contractor that trains search and rescue/custom services/police.

He said that his buddy sent his Rottweiler after a Fisher, dog lasted under a minute. His other dog went to protect the first dog. Disemboweled also as the first one.
They're a mean little critter.

Metal detected at a old but very trashy park due to the homeless I've cleaned up a few spots but no luck. Got bored so went to an area with less foot traffic and first find was a silver pendent with a little heart gem. Not bad considering any finds here are hard earned. Didn't stay long too much homeless and ghetto rift raf around. Was out of options so made the best of it and can't complain silver is silver.
