That is amazing. You've got me wondering if that would work here. Since I've never heard of "Missouri Maple Syrup", I'm guessing probably not. Especially since most of the trees around here are oak, hickory, and walnut.

Walnut works.
Need it to be negative temperatures at night, plus during the day. The tree builds up pressure, and the sap then rises up the trunk.

I had a bad scare me kinda prank pulled on me in my early 20's involving my 1970 Z28, a loose wheel, water soluble paint... a girl....fake pregnancy test, whiskey, condoms and other things I won't mention. I was thee ultimate prankster as a kid so I got paid back.

I think I was about 19, working at the airport. April night on night shift a big load of mudcrabs was on the cargo. There was kind of a friendly rivalry between us loaders and the cleaners. I cooked a mudcrab in their hotwater for tea and coffee urn
It was delicious, the crab, and the looks on their faces in the morning when they made and drank their coffee was priceless. There was coffee spat out and flying in all directions. 😁
