Good morning everyone.

Despite a nice sunrise and decent forecast, the weather turned and it rained most of the day yesterday, so I didn't get to do much outdoors. I was going to go retrieve a hornet nest we had seen earlier this year, but I guess something (bear?) beat me to it, because it had been torn apart and the insides removed.

Woodpeckers take mine apart. So they get a great source of protein when they want.

Now that we have started the winter activities, we start watching more movies.
I went to the library and signed out the box set of .................................

Pirates of the Caribbean

That's right, we have never watched this pirate by the name of Jack Sparrow.

At the 1 hr mark, I looked over at the Mrs and she's fully 😴:laughing7:.
Will try again tonight.

The paper left is good for muzzle loaders in damp weather or long term loading.
As an overpowder wad of it helps keep lube from leaking into powder. (A bit of it between patched roundball and powder.)
In a pinch it could work with a shot charge in a smoothbore.
