Thank you … but.. 1 mr woo roosts on top of a book case so no chance of catching him (i cant reach) 2 himself does not live here…. !!! 😅 thank goodness… i do love him, but love my sanity more 😂😂😂 xx

We wrapped him in a towel, i held him while himself did the snipping.. they both were very calm so all good!! No chin rubbing required!! 😂😂 xx
Well I know you are independent, but Himself just needs to set the ⏰️ get his tired body out of 🛌 .
Drive over in the early.
Like really now you shouldn't even have to ask for the help.
He should of been offering it on bended knee.
Just being part of the nail clipping procedure he should be honored.
That's my thoughts on the matter.😁

Ahh Look at his cute face… he has started to moult! 😅 xx

It has been o mph all night....just some distant lightning 🌩.....but we are just feeling the first feeder band of the storm....42-47 mph just to the north of keywest heading toward us.....it's turning now and should just skirt by.

Living down here it's hard to describe what it's like for us to see almost every storm come within 100 miles of us every time !! Sometimes much closer, or direct hits !! But every time you see the radar shot of these beasts so close it gives you goose bumps !!

we are on the clean side at the moment, but we will feel more soon....not as intense, but the duration of these storms for us is very long. Winds are picking up now...30-35 mph gusts now with steady 20 mph !!

[What Is the Waffle House Index?

The Waffle House Index is an informal metric used to gauge the severity of natural disasters, particularly hurricanes, based on the operational status of Waffle House restaurants in the affected area.

The chain is known for always staying open so closures or limitations in service are seen as indicators of how severe a disaster might be.

The index was coined by former Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) administrator Craig Fugate, and has three levels:

Green: The restaurant is fully open, operating with a full menu, indicating that the area is not significantly impacted.

Yellow: The restaurant is open, but with a limited menu. This suggests there may be power outages, water issues, or supply shortages in the area, but conditions are still manageable.

Red: The restaurant is closed. Since Waffle House almost never shuts down, this indicates severe damage or unmanageable conditions in the region.]

You bring to mind a question I've had for a while. Namely; How well do emergency power transformers. That kick in when one's power goes out? How well do they work under a 15 foot storm surge?

🤔 💭 🦧 🙄 :angel12:
