Pine forests? Iv always loved our pine forests because of the sound of the wind through them and the smell. Detected in quite a few near Ballarat and Creswick goldfields. Great memories during the SD detector years. 👍

No it's a spruce forest.

Out today for a fish. No catches but had some crazy big hits that buckled the rod. They were good Yellowbelly for sure. But were skittish and dropped the bait. Typical for this time of year.
Nice place though, the Loddon River.

Driving there the bush was white flowers, just a week ago was yellow. Amazing how it changes colour so quickly this time of year.

Near where I fish is a bush home that puts out some crazy things out front.
Santa in some tires.

A zombie.

There is usually a huge spider dangling from a tree over the road but I think the mad wind storms we have had over the past two weeks blew it off into the bush.
