Goodwill has a "wooden box " section, jewelry boxes cigar boxes etc. I grab the cigar boxes 'cause I enjoy a good Cuban.... The cigars.... :laughing7:
This stood out immediately! A name on the bottom I got it home had to look it up. I did not know anything about Couroc. The box is stunning for a box I learned from this article.

lol... that reminds me of many moons ago... one of my friends from back in thos days...
he was not the sharpest tool in the shed as they say...
So....
I helped him at work one day and we finished and went to a small mom and pop gas station in a kind of seedy part of town to grab something to drink.

As we approached the door to go in i saw a handmade sign taped on the window
It said " FRESH CUBANS"... and i stated such as we were walking in going in to guy at the counter right there...
My buddy asks "how much for the Cubans" ?
The guy says "five dollars"...
My buddy says "oh sheesh that is cheap i should buy like at least 10 of em"
The guy and me both kind of look at each other for a second in perplexed mode...
I say "Its NOT Cuban Cigars dude"...
My buddy looks confused and says ... (and i still laugh)
"what ? ? ? Cuban People" ? ? ?

I try my hardest not to laugh and the guy looks like he wants to jump the counter and kick his ass.
I say "yeah man... they are fresh off the boat"..."no you idiot Cuban sandwiches".

Once at a Burger King for lunch... just grabbed the food as my girl was already exiting and headed to the car... so she is in front of me by 10 feet or so...

There this guy sitting on the curb directly in the pathway and he has a cup in his hand...
As she passes him she drops some coin change into his cup.

The guy yells "HEY ! ! !... I aint no bum ! ! ! ".
And then dumps the change out on the ground mumbling how he has to go get a new cup.

He was just a landscaper who looked like a bum because he was filthy dirty FROM WORKING.

She apologized and so did I FOR her blonde moment... she was thoroughly embarrassed.

Just thought i would share... came to mind after my above story.
 

Once she congratulated this girl at a McDonalds on her pregnancy....
The girl responded with...
"I aint f---kin pregnant" ... followed by "WTF" ? ?

Again.... apologies were flying.

BUT.... just on my girls behalf...
the McD girl really did look pregnant.

She wont do that again. :/ sheesh

Known fact.
It's generally cooler, cleaner, whiter in the winter.

Still not sure how those southern pirates can live in the humidity everyday.
1 week of high temps and humidity is about enough.
