I doubt that. So do others, so experiments have been done. It might do it eventually, but it's going to take more than a week or two.. If you drop a 16 penny nail in a bottle of Coke it will dissolve in a week or so

I feel your pain. I've managed to get a few in the ground. I'm thinking that instead of digging, I should just let it get good and wet and then just go along with a stick and push the potatoes right straight down into the ground.Trying to plant my potatoes. 🤣
Only one way to find out! I may try it. When I was a teenager I worked at a McDonald's. After closing we used Coke to clean the grease off the grills.
