The twins brought a friend for breakfast yesterday morning. A little bigger friend.

Well I thought this one over regarding the dump truck.
Looked everywhere for a column, closest thing would be $600 no key.
So I put 2 batteries in it, slid this pin forward.

Engine wait light came on, then off.
Pushed it all the way.
Vroom!
Been sitting for 9yrs, and the 7.3 purrrrs.

I managed to get a little hunt time in yesterday, including doing some experiments with the Deus II on known targets in the iron patch that is the Mystery House. Short version: slow down, and dig everything. And I found a few interesting tidbits too. More info and photos in this post.

No crutches as I was in a hurry.
Lot's of wobble.
Looking at ceiling /spider overhead didn't help with balance.
Then I broke my inevitable fall by landing on the coffee table on an extended downward fingertip for first point of contact as gravity took over my direction and rate of travel. .
A lesson about an individual digits weight bearing capacity ; or some kind of lesson there.


Spider did meet it's demise in the process of my balance being disrupted.
